Good post. We must continue to be patient with all people even if we don't think anyone is paying attention.
Thank you! Agreed! Most people, including Christian's, don't even realize that this mark technology is here and that they are using it everyday when they make their purchases at the grocery store, buying gas or eating out, etc. Now, by the daily swiping of their cards, they have not received the mark, but they should be made aware of this technology and what it is going to evolve into. Once they understand this, they should be reluctant to use it. However, it is because of convenience that they do use it and is also a factor with those in Sweden who have been receiving it. In fact, if you watched the videos, people are excited about getting the chip. In one part excerpt it shows people paying for their train tickets in real-time by having their hand scanned. By the time the antichrist/beast is revealed, this mark system will already be in use and ready to become the only means of buying and selling.
The mark was not just going to pop up over night, but has been evolving ever since the first ATM's came out, which was then followed by the Universal Product Code (UPC), then the Point of Sale system (POS) with the Verifone devices for swiping debit and credit cards. And now the implanting of a chip under the skin of the hand. Most people don't study end-time events and so they don't recognize that the technology for the mark has been evolving right under their noses. They are looking for the numbers 666 which numerically represents the name of the beast and will most likely be a code within the mark, kind of like the banking codes, branches, city and country codes that already exist in the debit cards.
Regarding people not paying attention, I think that these posts help to get God's word across. Even though this information is about the beast, the false prophet and his mark, it is God's word, along with the other information and events which He wanted us to know, as stated right in the first verse of Revelation.
