The Scripture below in Daniel 11:37 shows this future human man will not regard (The God Of His Fathers)
His fathers worshipped the true Hebrew (God), this future human man will be a Hebrew/Jew in decent.
Daniel 11:37KJV
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
2 Kings 21:22KJV
22 And he forsook the Lord God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord.
2 Chronicles 28:25KJV
25 And in every several city of Judah he made high places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to anger the Lord God of his fathers.
Daniel 11 sets the context of the prophecy early in the chapter.
Daniel 11:2-4
And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.
3 And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.
4 And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those
Kings of Persia come against the realm of Greece, and then a "mighty king" stands up and rules with "great dominion." But his kingdom doesn't go to his offspring but is divided into four.
This king was
Alexander The Great, marking the start of Daniel 11's prophecy. Alexander had no offspring and so his kingdom was divided into four territories.
The next verses detail years and years of political and military intrigue between the empires north and south of the Holy Land, with the names "KoN" and "KoS" being references for
whoever is ruling the northern or southern empires that the Holy Land is found between, regardless of the name of the empire throughout time. For example:
- The daughter of the KoS was Cleopatra of ptolemaic empire (egypt) who married Antiochus VIII of selucid empire (syria), the KoN. This fulfills verse 6.
Time passes...
- One of her descendant (Cleopatra Celine) is taken into italy as the Roman empire emerges, the new KoN, fulfilling verse 7.
---
Chapter 11 continues with this intrigue back and forth between the rulers of the north and south from the Roman empire through its fights with the barbarian tribes eventually through to the Papacy taking over as KoN (still Rome) and The Islamic Caliphate taking over as KoS, until we get to the last passage that says...
Daniel 11:45
45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
685-688AD the Dome of the Rock was constructed. Its structure is ROMAN (north) architecture, even though it was commissioned by Islamic Caliphate (south). And it is a...
- tabernacle
- between the black sea and Mediterranean sea
- on the temple mount, the holy mountain
This marks the end of Chapter 11. So if we double-back both in human history (from the construction of the Dome) and through these verses we can confirm that the KoN in verses 36-38 is the Holy Roman Empire (papacy).
Daniel 11:36-38
36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things
The seat of Holy Roman Empire:
- magnified himself above all gods calling himself God in the flesh, with supreme temporal powers.
- the god of his fathers that he no longer regarded were the geeco-roman gods of paganism.
- it is also policy not to marry women, but to live a celibate life.
- the Papacy renamed Cybele,
the god of fortresses, into Mary the queen of heaven. Kings have given jewels and riches as offerings to the queen of heaven.

The prophecy then continues into chapter 12 where we're told Michael stands up and the
time of trouble for
Daniel's people begins for
a time, times and half time after that tabernacle is constructed on the glorious mountain between the seas.
So again the Dome was constructed around 685-688 AD...
685-688 AD + 1260 years = 1945-1948
The man in linen (who I believe is the preincarnate Messiah) gives the timing...
"
...from the time the daily sacrifice is taken away until the AoD is 1290 days..."
The daily was first taken away in 606 BC during Daniel's lifetime...
606 BC + 1290 years = 685 AD, matching when Dome of Rock was constructed. The Man in linen then says...
".
Blessed are those who reach 1335 days..."
685-688 AD + 1335 years = 2020-2023

So from my study of the text the "King" described in Daniel 11:37 is an office/empire not a single man, and that office/empire has been here the whole time.
