Am I allowed a chocolateObsession with sexual immorality?
But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God (Ephesians 5:3-5).
What makes adultery a sin? God! Why? Because he said so.Okay, so to finish that thought, as I asked previously, what makes adultery a sin, and why?

Thank you and everyone else for the bible verses regarding the subject i have enquired about. I have read them all before but have screenshoted them all today to read in the context as answers to my questions. As regards photos of my female relatives: firstly no of course i wouldn’t view my sister or niece in lingerie or topless in the same wayAs humans, we have an uncanny ability to "reason away" [sometimes] the inappropriateness of a thing (this, that, or the other thing--any random thing one can think of or is faced with) until/unless we are willing to honestly examine its adverse effects.
Paul said, in 1 Corinthians 10:23, ""All things are lawful," but not all things are profitable; "All things are lawful," but not all edify."
And in 1 Corinthians 6, he said,
12 “All things are lawful to me,” but not all things do profit. “All things are lawful to me,” but I will not be mastered by anything.
13 “Foods for the belly and the belly for foods,” but God will destroy both this and these. Now the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 And by His power God has both raised up the Lord, and will raise us out.
15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Having taken then the members of the Christ, shall I make them members of a prostitute? Never may it be! 16 Or do you not know that the one being joined to the prostitute is one body? For it says, “The two will become into one flesh.”a 17 But the one being joined to the Lord is one spirit.
Temple of the Holy Spirit
(Romans 12:1-8; 1 Corinthians 3:16-18)
18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin, whatever if a man might do, is outside the body, but the one sinning sexually sins against the own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, whom you have from God? And you are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body.b
Aside from that, one could be either doing the "look on a woman to lust after her" [even in still photos] or not be doing that, the person themselves know whether they are or not, if they are honest with themselves (not to mention, God knowing one's heart); a way to tell (I would think) is whether they would indeed post similar photos of their own mother, great grandmother, etc, and view those similarly... or not.jmho
EXACTLY..When the Spirit of God convicts a man of sin it is for the purpose of leading him to repentance and faith in the remedy for sin, Jesus Christ.
When you respond in faith and turn from your sin, then the Grace of God strengthens and establishes and settles you and you overcome in that area of the flesh you once were in bondage to. (or struggling with)
If you reject the conviction of the Holy Spirit and justify yourself and say "it is not a sin" then the Lord can't help you and you are driven to darkness.
There is only one sin that is unpardonable and it is sinning against the remedy.
Now you have been given the answer to your question. You have a choice to make. Continue in sin or repent. Come into the light or go further into darkness.
This is not a game. Because of your questions and responses that have been given you will not remain the same. You will either repent and start your journey toward holiness and the light and illumination that comes with it, or you will continue to declare that you are not sinning in which case you will be given over to more darkness and lack of understanding. One of the two will occur. You will not remain the same. Choose wisely.
I know what you are saying and truly want to be that good Christian person but..bare breasts are gorgeousWhen the Spirit of God convicts a man of sin it is for the purpose of leading him to repentance and faith in the remedy for sin, Jesus Christ.

What makes adultery a sin? God! Why? Because he said so.
Why not the same response - "because He said so"? Why do you treat different Scriptures in a different way? The same person who said no adultery is the same person who said to flee from sexual immorality. You're not applying a consistent standard, that should tell you something.Am I allowed a chocolatebar-or is that a sin too?
You are messing with some one else's wife or husband and ruining families often with children suffering through divorce and wounded for life .. Fornication you are messing with some ones daughter .. How do you bring honor to your parents ?What makes adultery a sin? God! Why? Because he said so.
