The Father sanctified the 7th day, and gave man a direct commandment to follow it.

Genesis 2:1-3KJV
1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Exodus 20:8-11KJV
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Thanks; I asked Blik because I want to know to what she is referring.

I am not interjecting my opinion to remove and revoke God's Words.

Ceremonial law as shadows use parables to reason by. They give us the understanding of faith. The understanding is hid from the faithless.

The Deuteronomy account differs as to beginnings (Creation) with the same ending of the Exodus (exit from Egypt).. Moral laws do not have reasoning done through parables. It was not accidental but as in most cases he uses two witnesses to represent the one witness of God.

Deuteronomy 5: 15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the Lord thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

Exodus 29: 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Why do you think he spoke that law as a parable two different ways ? As a shadow what was it pointing to?
Not one word you have posted revokes or replaces any one of the 10 Commandments, and their observation for the Christian presently, Not One.

God (Sanctified) the 7th day, it's one of the Ten Commandments.

Do you really believe you can interject your opinion in ceremonial/moral laws to remove and revoke God's Words :)

If we could love perfectly our neighbors like Romans 13 suggests, there would be no need of any further laws. What happens when the devil himself becomes your neighbor? View attachment 220287
They Sabbath Deniers Act As If Romans 13 love your neighbor has replaced the 10 commandments?

In Matthew 22 below the Lord mentioned to love God and your neighbor

If you love your neighbor, you won't commit Adultery, stealing, lying, adultery, etc

If you love God you won't commit Idolatry, and you will keep the 7th day sabbath, simple.

Matthew 22:37-40KJV
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Luke 10:27KJV
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

The Lord tells Israel to sacrifice animals at the tabernacle/temple on the Sabbath.

To what, specifically, are you referring when you say, "honor the Sabbath"?

By the way, there are several things one can say of Jesus that cannot be said (rightly) of the Father: the Father was never incarnate; the Father was not crucified; the Father was not resurrected.
And the Lord tells us that Christ fulfilled that. It was the symbol of Christ's blood, the Lord said it was blood given on the altar for atonement of sins. The Lord said he hated blood that was sacrificed to feed him, that wasn't used for the atonement of souls. We are told that if we would sacrifice the blood of animals, now, it would be to deny Christ. If we lived before Christ gave His blood, we were told to sacrifice animals, now if we obey we are told not to sacrifice animals.

I am referring to the commandment God gave to honor the Sabbath. The fact that Christ came is no reason not to obey this command.

I agree 100%

They will try everything possible to deny the 7 day sabbath, no place in the scripture has this been replaced or revoked.

Just as thou shalt not kill, steal, bear false witness, honor father and mother, etc

All 10 commandments are alive and in effect today, all 10, not just 9

I strongly disagree with your 8th day theory.

God sanctified the 7th day as seen below, it hasn't been revoked or replaced.

Revelation 21:1-
Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away,

Revelation 21:5-6
He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.

-------
A new heaven and a new earth are new creations. How did Christ accomplish these things? By his work at the cross. By breaking through to the 8th creation day on Resurrection Sunday.

And God rested on the Sabbath. Jesus rested in the grave on the Sabbath when all his work on earth was finished. "It is finshed".

If that which was made in six days, the heavens and the earth, are passing away, then so too is the seventh day when God (Jesus) rested. How do we know this? Because He is making EVERYTHING new.

Genesis 2:1-3KJV

3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
God gave the Israelites a direct command to keep the Sabbath day. Although God's rest on the seventh day (Genesis 2:3) did foreshadow a future Sabbath law, there is no Biblical record of the Sabbath before the children of Israel left the land of Egypt and nowhere in Scripture is there any hint that Sabbath keeping was practiced from Adam to Moses.

The Sabbath was not offered to all the nations. It was given only to the nation of Israel. (Exodus 13:13-17) Look at Deuteronomy 5:1-15 which gives the commandments to Israel. 2 The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. 3 The Lord did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, those who are here today, all of us who are alive.

Nehemiah 9:13 - “Then You came down on Mount Sinai, And spoke with them from heaven; You gave them just ordinances and true laws, Good statutes and commandments. 14 “So You made known to them Your holy sabbath, And laid down for them commandments, statutes and law, Through Your servant Moses.

If every man from Adam to Moses kept the Sabbath, why is the Hebrew word for the weekly Sabbath found in the Ten Commandments, never found in the book of Genesis? Why is no one before Moses ever being told to keep the Sabbath? Why are there no examples of anyone keeping the Sabbath before Moses? Why were the Patriarchs never instructed about the Sabbath, but were instructed regarding: offerings: Genesis 4:3-4, Altars Genesis 8:20, Priests: Genesis 14:18, Tithes: Genesis 14:20, Circumcision: Genesis 17:10, Marriage: Genesis 2:24 and Genesis 34:9. Why would God leave out the Sabbath command in Genesis if it was for everyone to keep before Moses?

Again, the word "Sabbath" first appears in Exodus 16:23 - Then he said to them, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.

The Word of God makes it quite clear that Sabbath observance was a sign between God and Israel: “The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant. It will be a sign between Me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he abstained from work and rested.” (Exodus 31:16-17)

In Deuteronomy 5, Moses restates the Ten Commandments to the next generation of Israelites. Here, after commanding Sabbath observance in verses 12–14, Moses gives the reason the Sabbath was given to the nation Israel: “Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.” (Deuteronomy 5:15)

All 10 commandments are alive and in effect today, all 10, not just 9
2 Corinthians 3:6 - who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, 8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? 9 For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.

Since the old covenant has been made obsolete, does this leave us with no moral direction? Absolutely not. God made obsolete the old covenant to put into place the new covenant (2 Corinthians 3:6-9; Hebrews 8:6-13). The life of discipleship flows out of the new command, to love one another as He loved us (John 13:34), which Paul refers to as the "law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). Love fulfills the law (Romans 13:8-10). Out of this single command comes other commands, including references for the moral aspect of 9 of the 10 commandments, which are reiterated under the new covenant, yet the command to keep the Sabbath day is not binding on Christians under the new covenant.

1. You shall have no other gods before Me. - Acts 14:15
2. You shall make no idols. - 1 John 5:21
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. - 1 Timothy 6:1; James 2:7; James 5:12
4. Keep the Sabbath day holy. - Not binding on the Church - Colossians 2:16-17
5. Honor your father and your mother. - Ephesians 6:1-2
6. You shall not murder. - Romans 13:9-10; 1 John 3:15
7. You shall not commit adultery. - Romans 13:9-10; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
8. You shall not steal. - Romans 13:9-10; Ephesians 4:28
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. - Romans 13:9-10; Colossians 3:9-10
10. You shall not covet. - Romans 13:9-10; Ephesians 5:3

Let me point out first this is my opinion. Just some observations I have made on this subject.

Jesus said that a day will come when we will worship God in spirit and truth.
He also said to cast our burdens upon him and he will give us rest.
He also said to love one another as he has loved us.

No doubt that Jesus is the Sabbath, Lord of it, the maker of it. The savior of the world.
In the gospel Jesus represents the old and the new by his actions and words fulfilling that which is in the book of Isaiah "behold I do a new thing".
Knowing that we have a never changing God we can also know he will not change anything in the old but fulfill it and bring it to it's conclusion.

I believe there are 2 different time frames the Lord works in. One for the Jews another for the gentiles.
Which he has established in creation. One day and one week.
In instructions to the Jews it seems that God places most things on a weekly schedule.
Knowing that they are blinded by God untill they are given sight of the truth they are to learn of what are referred to is the shadows of the law. Which points to Christ.
They even have prophecy broken into weeks such as the weeks of Daniel .....ECT.

Now we have instructions to the church which seems to be a daily thing. A always thing.
Renewing daily, repenting ( in my case daily lol) praying often, Thanksgiving, ECT.
Untill the time of the gentiles are fulfilled (very interesting scripture).
When this time is fulfilled Israels eyes will be opened.

It seems to me that the practices of the sabbath is our daily walk with Christ.
And will be in the end the Jews daily walk also.

Each day is a new day for those who are in Christ.
For the Jews they continue on the observances and ordinance of the law.

As I said before just my opinion.

What you said is in line with this:

"Number 8 in Bible is a new beginning, it is a number of hope, new horizons and bright future. It is connected with Jesus and his resurrection, as he was resurrected on the 8th day after he was chosen to be the one who will be sacrificed for the sins of humanity."
8 people were saved in the ark to continue human race and reboot the humanity, leading to new beginning. After this number 8 is a number of new beginning, salvation and triumph. After the resurrection he showed himself to other people, believers, his disciples and Mary Magdalene 8 times before ascending. The circumcision process for man was held on the 8th day, it is believed that it is symbolical circumcision of the heart through Christ and letting in the Holy Spirit. After this process the people who are in Christ experience renovation, symbolical rebirth and finding of God."

(Dual Covenant Theology) is a false teaching of man.
Your sentence above uses brackets incorrectly. I have addressed this before, and you did not change your practice.

The correct way is to use brackets to enclose words that are explanatory in nature, not that are primary words in the sentence. This sentence uses brackets (like those used in mathematical notation) correctly.

I'm not talking about duel covenant. What I'm talking about is integration the old and the new coming together.
The new testament is the old revealed.
In the book of revelation Israel is saved. Do you not agree?
