swallowed up in victory!

the joy of the LORD is our strength :)
Amen....just like the type found in the siege and fall of Jericho.

Same order as seals, trumpets and leaves out the thunders..

Then...BLAST of a loud trumpet, with a shout, ascension and VICTORY....same verbiage as 1st Corinthians 15 and 1st Thessalonians 4

@Chris1975

i'm sensing a theme here in Romans 6-7

you? ya think it's '
daily kill yourself, or else!' or is it 'you have died, rejoice, believe it & act like it'

Every group claims they are 'Christian ' even the Mormons and JW s
So because Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses use the term “Christian” to describe themselves no one should?

You are judging me a certain way because I say I am a Christian?

Whatever man.

WE POINT 100% to Christ
Would you allow the following to happen to you for Christ’s sake, since you say you “point 100% to Christ”?

Luke 6:29 KJV
[29] And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.

Let’s see how much of what you say is 100% truth.

Wow in reading most but not all of the comments on this subject. Sadness fills my heart. Brothers Sisters have you laid down the feeling of peace and love to argue with each other about what God " ment " when He said...
Salvation is a free gift to us all to accept.
As humans we all SIN. We miss the mark we get it wrong sometime because we don't know, sometimes because we choose for whatever reason to do wrong. That is what repentance is for to turn around and do the right thing. That is why we are on this planet as humans with free will. To have the choice what good is free will if there is nothing to choose from. Jesus Christ was a gift to us to be an example of how to not only act but how to react in our every day life that is how He was able to take our sin because He knew no sin He acted and reacted to us humans correctly and Died doing it. It is up to us to believe in Christ and to believe God sent Him to us as a gift so we can learn how to act correctly in a peaceful Loving manner towards each other as He loves us . Think about you are the one all of you us Even me have to choose every day to believe and than we have to choose to have faith in what we believe and than have belife in our faith . Don't argue defending God's word expecialy if your strong in your faith because that Might make someone weaker than you think God can not show Himself and Prove His word for Himself. I will pray for all of you to remember. God put us here God gave us His son Jesus Christ to show us how to have peace and love inspite of the fact He new of the pain He would suffer for us. Please Father God even if I wrote that all wrong in my human way let the truth of it be received in Your way In Jesus name ..

I did not ask if you would allow me to smite you twice (I wouldn’t do so anyway).

But would you allow someone to smite you twice?

How about letting someone take your possessions?

Are you going to FOLLOW your Lord 100%?

After all, those who follow his teachings are the true ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED ones!

Ok what type of church do you go to ? please don't say ' a Christian church ' . I go to a non denomination church . This may help to see where your coming from as i have been to churches which hold to similar views as you hold ( maybe not as extreme but similar ) . I know some Torah observers and even SDA hold similar views as what your saying . So I'm trying to see where your coming from ?

well it's an interesting thing you point out here, that many call themselves 'christian' who are not, in truth.
so it follows that, merely saying 'i'm christian' doesn't necessarily mean a person is. there were many false teachers then, and they multiply today -- don't they all say they're Christian? don't they all say, their false doctrines are the gospel?

so we must compare what we hear with scripture, and by the Spirit be discerning.

I used to attend an Independent Fundamentalist Baptist Church.

I’ve visited various kinds of assemblies but in these last days the multitude of false teachers and the cancer of false doctrine had spread so badly that it is hard to imagine there’s a church out there faithful to the word of God.

But the true remnant are out there. God only knows.

and if He has paid it once and for all, why is it human tradition that we must ourselves pay it
I don't know of anyone thinking they can do what Jesus did.
There is a tradition of participation in the redemptive suffering of Christ. Many are priveledged to drink the cup of the new covenant. A covenant of blood. As members of His Body Jesus unites His suffering with ours and we follow Him all the way to the cross. Stephen is the exemplar of this Grace.

Sometimes this Grace is incorrectly explained as paying the price again and again or saved by works Gospel etc.....That is people unable to think past an entrenched bias.

Ok cool and what type of church are you attending now ? For example I know many who will only now go to an AOG or a methodist, maybe a An arminain or Calvinist church ( which I would want to try to avoid all of those , Especially Calvinism or Arminism)

I agree with what your saying , even though it seems we have some disagreements on some important differences. I.m interested were your coming from and why this particular area you see as such error .

I AM the Resurrection and the Life: he who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live, and whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.
Do you believe this?

Mary wasn't afraid to say whether she believed
Great scripture for participation in the suffering of Christ.
As Paul knew, if we die with Him He will raise us up to everlasting life. This is where the rubber meets the road in the Christian life.

Those who have believed and trusted Christ by faith are eternally secure....make no mistake about it joker....after that it is a process of sanctification, growth and maturity......you really fail to understand many truths and conflate numerous truths into some religious quagmire to peddle error!

Have you matured to the point of allowing someone to strike you twice and take your belongings?
