I prefer once saved , stay saved . The point of all this is about being sealed by the Holy spirit . Thats the basis of staying saved ..The bible also tells us we are predestined by God to certain glorification. So if the bible says ' nothing can separate us ( Rom 8)
That we are sealed until we mess up ? no eph 4.30 says we are sealed until the day of redemption which is The adoption ( Rom 8.23 ) . No one is Predestined to be saved . Its predestined AFTER we are saved to guaranteed glorification . So Eternal security is not dependant on enduring or perseverence of the saints , but on the Holy Spirit seal and we can rest on promises of God that we are predestined to be Glorified ( The adoption Rom 8.23 ) We are more than ' in 'His hands( John 10 ) we are his hand Eph 5.30 . Nothing ! can separate us ( Rom 8 ) . This is good news .

Did you read anything I said about being sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption? And Judas is before the cross , before the resurrection and before the giving of the Holy Spirit so Judas of course was lost . He never trusted on Jesus for salvation .
