I need Friday and it's only Wednesday! Desperately needing some weekend rest and relaxation. For me, that's reading, sipping coffee, snuggling my dog, maybe watching a movie. What are all of your favorite things to do to unwind on the weekend??

Saturday nap.....

And Sunday it's always work is back,

but it's Friday, it's time to slack.


Monday blues and Tuesday there is no time to snooze.

Wednesday......... they don't even sell tacos, Thursday they suddenly ran out of chicken at Moes.

It's Friday! I love T.G.I.F..

On Friday I bring out the flak jacket, the riot shield, the helmet... Fridays and Saturdays are hectic at my job.

Sunday, now... that's my jam! :cool:

Except for Monday, which was never good anyway
Tuesday I get a little sideways
Wednesday I feel better, just for spite
Thursday and Friday take too long
And before I know it, Saturday's gone
But it's Sunday now and you can bet that I'm alright

Nothing. I've had so little to do for so long I'm always bored. And relaxation isn't really something thats been effective for me.
Distraction is the closest I get to relaxation, but that is it's own work.

Haha, I can relate. I often have a very, very hard time actually, truly relaxing. I am always anxious under the surface.

Patience, Grasshopper... Friday will come. :)

I usually look forward to weekends. Unfortunately, the funeral of a friend from church will break my Saturday right in the middle. It's one of those things about which you can't even legitimately complain.

True, but not everybody wants a new romance, and only the confident swimmers and fools are going off the deep end.

Thankfully, in Jesus, we all get that needed second chance (oooh)... ;)

Weekends...

Well I get 7 days off every two weeks and not always on the weekend lol.

Right now with covid...

Weekends are for online church, card/board/video games with my kids, organizing sports card collection, listening to praise and worship music, sometimes movies...

When we ever get back to “normal” lol...

Add traveling/sightseeing, bowling, mini golf, day hikes, sporting events, Christian concerts...

Yeah, I know, it's a tough job being retired, but somebody's got to do it,............

I need Monday and it's only Friday. I unwind on my days off by sitting outside on my balcony, drinking coffee and watching the ducks on the pond.
