At the top of the front page there are subforums for the available options to download the chat app. If it's not listed there it's not available.

Chat room is not down. It's the chat room software that's messed up. Some people get on no problem. Others can't install the software. Or it won't run properly if it installs. It's been "getting fixed" since sometime last year.

Well a new laptop doesn't mean it'll work. 50/50 chance. No one knows why it works for some and not others.

Well most chat users don't use the forums, and vice versa. So the people you talk to there likely won't see this.

So it may be that an ethernet cable might work.

Maybe that's why.

Chat down? Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I haven't been to the chat room in years and have yet to load the app enabling chat on my laptop. On this site are two types of peep - chat peeps and forum peeps. I'm a forum peep.
 
Im having problems with the chat. Its loading but no one is in it any rooms chatting. I've never had any issues like this. I sent RoboOp a message but I am just wondering if I am the only one or whats up? Not even sure if this is where to post this. I dont do the forums

It's a software issue, for sure. Others have made the same complaint. Whether a cable will work or not, im not sure, but, technically, you shouldn't need one if the software was functioning correctly.
 
Sadly a big issue. i thought i was frozen mid chat yesterday and now still this morning it logs in but no Names in any room including my own name not showing
