Love is a verb in the sense of God's love, rather than an emotion. Too many are putting the caboose as the engine. Emotions should follow obedience; in other words if you forgive, you receive forgiveness and are released from the harm you do yourself with hidden anger and hatred

there seems to be a mass exodus away from truth towards the standard of 'my feelings might get hurt if I actually apply the fact that God's ways are higher than my ways' to my personal standards, so I'm sure God will make an exception for me
God makes no exceptions and that is one reason we know we can trust Him. He is fair in all He does

I find it totally incomprehensible that someone can say "You don't believe Christ crucified just risen"
The basis of our faith is Christ crucified and risen.
If not crucified and dead and risen then then we may as well chuck the Bible in the bin.
Romans 10:9
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
To accuse you of not believing that is an insult because I know you do, you clarified that.
I have posted many times on this forum to people who just assume what I am saying and when I respond with what I believe they just reject it.
Simple example "We can sin all we want and it is covered"
I say "No that is not what I believe and Paul addressed this in Romans"
What I say is still rejected

Brother....75 to 90% of the truth we post is rejected and then skewed to say something we did not say or imply. The religionists done the same thing with Jesus.....and think on this truth....on this site the religionists that follow an "ISM" or a particular branch or branches of religion DO THE SAME THING CONTINUALLY......they have no recourse against the truth, so, like The snake in the garden with the word of God, they try to discredit the message or messenger or both.
One such example you cited. Same is true with the Calvinists, Mormons, JW's, 7th Dayers etc......

Yes, lol, exactly!
One time I believe it was @Sackcloth-N-Ashes gave him a disagree, so he whined about that and gave him like 10 and then said something back really callow like "I can play this game too" all because he got a disagree. Uh...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did he cry when CS1 gave him a disagree? Well, like Dave Hester would say:
