The new covenant also states (from your Post #15):

"For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts."

What laws does God put into the mind and write in the heart of the born again one?
I think I answered this a few times... but you don't seem to understand my answer. I will try again. Jesus Christ is the perfect High Priest, who took upon himself the sins of the entire world, and is the mediator of the new covenant between God and us. The Temple was a temporary place where one would go for divine blessing in building form, but now it is in Christ, who is a permanent place, where one needs to go for divine blessing because of the new covenant God has with Christ.

In the new covenant, we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ, who entered into heaven itself to appear in the holy of holies, the sacred chamber of the heart of God’s glorious presence for us. Jesus Christ is the promised seed and faithful High Priest, who fulfilled all the law, and is set between God and us—because he is connected to both sides, and thereby he is able to work with God and with us. Jesus Christ is the new covenant and it's Jesus Christ that God wrote into the mind of the believer and it's Jesus Christ that is written in the heart of the Christian. I teach Christ and you teach man and how well he can sin.

Not that you are aware of, do you think the Pharisees saw sin in themselves? They were blind to their own folly they were sinful but they thought themselves to be pure. Just because you don't see it or believe you don't sin doesn't mean you don't.

The enemy is crafty like that he will make you think you are not in fault and will blind you to your own folly it is a common tactict of his he wants us to to think we are without sin he wants us to not be aware of our mistakes so that we will not repent of them.

The heart is a tricky thing it can become prideful not even on purpose and when a prideful heart comes so does the unrepentant heart, the humble in heart are aware of their sins and folly they search their hearts daily.

Do you recall how Jesus spoke of the pharisee and tax collecter? the Pharisee said to god how he thanked him he was not like everyone else but the tax collecter dared not even look to the sky in his tears said forgive me for I am a sinner only the humble tax collecter was seen as good and rightous because he was humble he admited he was a sinner
I teach Christ and his righteousness that he made available to the Christian. I don't teach men and how well they sin.

Most believers have been taught it's them, their mind, and therefore their flesh that should be involved in renewing their mind. I'm thinking it's the spirit of my mind that comes with a bit of an already renewed mind as I just get out of the way. Perhaps this is why a guy like Paul could say...

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:"
Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

In Romans 12:1-2, we are instructed to present ourselves as living sacrifices to God. The transformation which occurs as a result is what God works in the believer who follows the instruction in presenting him/herself to God. The transformation by God includes renewing of the mind ... this is what God works in the believer.

I agree that these verses have been misconstrued. We think we are the ones who have to "renew our minds" when, in fact, we are instructed to present ourselves as living sacrifices to God. That is our responsibility.

God then works within us to transform us. As part of the transformation process, the renewing of the mind takes place. Interesting that in the new covenant God tells us he will put His laws in our minds and write them in our hearts ...

Matthew 22:

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

What you have stated appears to be the love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind part of what Jesus said.

Do you think God also includes the love thy neighbor as thyself part as He puts His laws in our minds and writes them in our hearts?

I share what God's Word reveals concerning "man and how well he can sin". You do know that God's Word does reveals this truth, yes? What God's Word also reveals is how we overcome "how well [we] can sin" ... and that is through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 13:

12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

This is not something that has yet to happen or has to happen over and over. It’s a done deal because in our new, born-again spirit, we are dead to sin. And so our sin nature is dead and gone, but it left behind a body that has a carnal mind, and therefore it will still function as programmed until we reprogram it. It's what the New Testament calls the "renewed mind" when our lives are transformed by the process of reprogramming our thoughts.

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Therefore, victory in the Christian life is as simple as renewing our minds to who we are and what we have already received in Christ. It’s not the struggle of two natures inside of us. We will continue to struggle with sin if we see ourselves as old sinners saved by grace. And so it's also true we will manifest the change that took place in our new nature when we understand we are not old sinners saved by grace. Thus, we act like being part of the senses world when we see ourselves as being part of the senses world. We act like being part of the Christian world when we see ourselves as being part of Christ—i.e., in our born-again spirits.

I teach Christ and his righteousness that he made available to the Christian. I don't teach men and how well they sin.
If you teach Christ and his righteousness then why is everything about being sinless with you?
Jesus taught about sin but more than anything he shared the wisdom and secrets of the kingdom, he in his righteousness rxposed sin yes but then he spoke of grace and salvation his point was never spoken in terms of being sinless for only he was sinless.

He came to heal the broken hearted to open the peoples eyes to God and his kingdom he spoke so much more about all of this than sin itself.
Maybe you see yourself as a teacher but a good teacher produces fruits in the ones he teaches I have seen no such fruits from those who teach on here.

That’s an interesting observation about a good teacher produces fruits in the one he teaches.

How should a teacher produce fruits in a believer?........I know God produces fruit in a true believer of Christ.

A good teacher produces the fruits in the ones he teaches because the teacher speaks not with his own words or thoughts but because he knows God's voice and God speaks through the teacher.

Not to mention the fact one has to have the actual calling of it and an understanding of what it means and takes to be a good teacher. Anyone can be a teacher or claim to teach but every good teacher has the heart of a student, they learn just as much from the ones they teach and the ones being taught learn from them.

There is far more to teaching than merely giving insightful and wise words, a good teacher is not concerned about being right or showing their knowledge they teach solely for the instruction guiiding and building of others it has nothing to do with themselves and they even being a status of instuction gladly recieve instruction and correction they have the ears to hear and gain understanding even from a babe in Christ.

If you were to choose a finger on your hand any finger that you use to relate to a teacher which one would you choose? I assume you would choose the pointing finger because after all what is a teacher but one who points the students in the right direction?

No, that is not a true statement.

What is a true statement is that you believe most christians believe the spirit of Christ makes their flesh spiritual. That is what you believe. That is not what most christians believe. I have known many christians over many decades and I have never heard any one say what you have posted.

And to be honest, I thought you thought your flesh was spiritual in all your yammering about how you don't sin (or maybe it's can't sin) ...

I think it is more a matter of not really understanding that our being tempted is not sin. The systems of this world are set up to constantly and continually bombard us (tempt us) with things that serve only to stir up our fleshly desires (lusts of the flesh).

God warns us over and over in His Word about this and He tells us He is with us always, He never forsakes us, He gives us all we need to overcome.

However, sometimes we stumble and fall.

And then we are reminded what man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing :love::love:

This is not something that has yet to happen or has to happen over and over.
I have never said what you imply here.

What I have said is that this transformation is something that is worked within the believer by God from the moment the believer is born again and God continues to work within us as long as we live in these earthen vessels. This working within by God matures the believer from babe in Christ to no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive (Eph 4:14). As long as we live on this earth, in these bodies, God will continue to work within us.

We have no ability to "reprogram it". This is part of the transforming process which God works in the believer.

The only thing we do is present our bodies a living sacrifice to God (Rom 12:1) and be not conformed to this age (Rom 12:2). God then works within us and He transforms us.

Peterlag said:

Note that God tells us to put on the new man. The new man is complete in and of itself and includes the renewed mind. If we think the renewed mind is the result of us doing anything other than presenting ourselves as living sacrifices to God, we are mistaken.

Peterlag said:
Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
The verbs in Rom 12:2 are as follows:

be not conformed [Greek syschēmatizō mē]

be ye transformed [Greek metamorphoō]

The word renewing [Greek anakainōsis] is a noun.

The renewed mind is the result of the transformation which takes place within the believer as God works in the believer.

The believer's part in the equation: Present him/herself to God. Be not conformed to the age in which we live.

God's part in the equation: Transform the believer by working within as the believer presents him/herself. God works in the very mind and heart of the believer.

I understand what you are saying and I agree. However, I also understand what God tells us all throughout the epistles and I do not deny what God tells us. He gives warning after warning after warning ... even to those who God refers to as faithful in Christ Jesus (the Ephesian believers).

My paying attention to God's warning does not equal my "being part of the senses world", nor does it equal my not "being part of Christ". It just means that I believe all of God's Word concerning myself as I live in this present evil world in this earthen vessel.

If there were no warning verses like Ephesians 4:31 (Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you) or Colossians 3:8-9 (put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another), then I see your point. But the fact of the matter is that we are warned by God and we'd best pay attention to every single truth He imparts to us.

When you are led by the Holy Spirit.you will never ever get into conflict with others.

When we are saved...we have a long way to go in reaching maturity in the Lord.

It’s learning to submit to the will of God in our lives.....the desire is so strong to please God....it gets stronger as one submits to what is pleasing to our Lord.

Well it does for me anyway,......

I agree with the last 3 statements.

With slight modification, I agree with the first statement ...

When you are led by the Holy Spirit.you will never ever get into conflict with others who are led by the Holy Spirit.

1 John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

Those who have fellowship with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ will have fellowship with each other ... that's how I read that verse :)

We may or may not "get into conflict" with those who are not led by the Holy Spirit ...

Aren't you the one who keeps reminding us that we need to " learn to distinguish not only the various people, but also the different time periods God has spoken to if we want to understand the written Word of God " ???

You do understand that Romans 5:13 does not apply to the current age in which we live, yes???

Romans 5:

12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Romans 5:13 relates to the period of time stated as "until the law" ... the time period from Adam to Moses shown in vs 14.
