He must do the first work of faith in us. . our first love or experience of believing in a God not seen (called faith) That faith which is not of ourselves takes away all the wonderings as doubting's .In that way doubt is not the opposite of faith . Unbelief "no faith" No shield as armor of God . No protection of His seed .

I think that is why Jesus informed Nicodenmus just after revealing a person must be born again .Marvel not . . but rather believe or exercise work out the unseen will .

Marveling or wondering places a person between to two burdens .(yes or no) Anything that is not of the faith of Christ that comes by hearing God is considered sin . it can break down the armor.

I found it interesting she picked right up with others on @jackrosie being new around here...skipping right on over the things they said to her and many others that are way out of line. Yes, it is quite interesting, jumped right on in with them, being new...

the immature behavior is wrong and does actually reflect troll behavior if the actual understanding of the word troll is examined

we have emotional outbursts, outright lies and confusing long posts that make no sense whatsoever and yet we should take Calvinism seriously. I do. I seriously think it is rather cultish if the proponents are in any way examples of what they say the believe

I find your inability to defend your beliefs to be what is of particular interest here. Instead, you post nonsense and mockeries. Did you cut your nails too short or what? Actually, 11th noted that jackrosie has been here quite some time. Perhaps not defending you though so you might not have noticed their presence.

I know..she’s good at doing that....apparently she can sort members problems out..she posted that some way back on this thread.

I must look it up....LOL....she’s doing a good job so far!....LOl.

It was exactly the same thing with the Synod sans any Catholic representation for obvious reasons. Handled in the same manner, the larger body of orthodoxy condemned the heresy.

To him it is different and unfair only because of his obvious disdain for the Doctrines of Grace. An overview of the details in history shows his view to be scanted in order to support him, not history, which is why he wants to toss out and mitigate councils he doesn't like.

No, I don't discard the synod of dort because your characterization. I discard it for the same reason I discard Trent, it was a purely political exercise. The magistrates had a political feud with Joseph Arminius and his followers so they invented a theological reason to go after him. It's quite hypocritical of you to complain about me ignoring Dort while you ignore Trent for basically the same exact reason. But in the typical fashion of a good "reformed" individual you misrepresent and strawman my argument. Augustine and Calvin would be proud.
