Oh sorry. I think you meant where he said THIS:

“ I have chosen to accept my free ticket to get on board!!”
That does not say he chose God

where did he say he chose God? as apposed to God choosing him?

Repent/Metanoeo: to think differently, to reconsider, a change of mind.

Most people have no idea what repentance is or what the word even means. It’s not just feeling super duper sad about all the bad stuff you’ve been doing wrong.

The word repent alone means a change of mind, to reconsider...

Exodus 32:14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

The word repent in the context of sin speaks of a changing of mind that is evil continuously to an increasing love for God, this is impossible without grace: the divine influence upon the heart, being born again...

Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.

Godly sorrow and repentance is granted.

When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, “So then, even to Gentiles God has granted repentance that leads to life.

But you’ll say why does he command us to do something we cannot do?

Have you not read the Bible? The entire scripture starting in Genesis is designed for you to realize you can do nothing good apart from God, for all good things come from above, Godly sorrow, repentance, faith, love of Christ...

You must understand that the church is infested with humanism, this false belief that God created all of this for the glory of man, that man is the center of creation. Not so.

Christ is the center. Out of love for the Son He promised a redeemed people, a bride that would be shown the Son and be formed to his image by the Spirit.

It’s all about Jesus not you.
Repentance is also a gift from God...
Everything we have is a gift from God that brought us to our Lord and Savior , and we cry out for forgiveness as we are shown our sins...
...xox...

Several in here teach they chose God (well, glory to them) while some deny they teach it which is quite interesting. Hmmmm.:whistle:

I choose a more biblical doctrine, that God does the choosing, not the doctrines of men like Finney, Sandeman and other heretics who teach contrary to the Scriptures. :)
Can you name na,es

you claimed I did, can you show proof, you and ashes tried before and failed, go ahead repost where someone claimed they chose God

Careful, someone is against you agreeing with my posts, and calls you out on it.

In my honest opinion that is being quite antagonistic.

Thanks, and you're correct, I haven't lied, yet I see the calling me a liar continues, behavior he said in the past, when he said this about me then, was "childish."

Hmmmm.
Go ahead, prove it. You and jr both prove it

This is inappropriate behavior. I've lied about nothing, yet you continue to offer baseless accusations.

I think she may have the right to "amen" a post without being badgered over it. Sorry that bothers you so much. (y)
Go ahead report me

but while your at it, prove myself or anyone else said they chose God

A text without a context is just a pretext...

Ephesians 1:4-5
just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will

This passage in no way teaches what Calvinism puts forth.

"IN HIM"

God chose the Son before creation, because He truly was one that existed to be chosen, being a person in the Godhead.

Put simply, we are “chosen” because we are in Christ, but we are not chosen to be put into Christ.

Paul is stating is that which Christians have in Christ (v.3), which is exclusive access to God’s spiritual blessings, outside of which, there are zero spiritual blessings.

The Calvinist however, is stating that which an elect group has in the Father, with the result of being spiritually blessed to be chosen to become believers. Thus, Calvinism is in direct opposition of Pauline theology. False teaching!!

He is speaking about the blessings that come from being in the First chosen one>>> Jesus.

This is so typical. They even have a meme for it. I would post it but I'm not a Calvinist...:)

Here's the gist of it, though: Hey look the non-Calvinist are using scripture that we cannot dispute. Let's start personally attacking them and post a bunch of rude and pointless memes. ;)
