As always your perception is right on. ;)
I can't believe others do not see it and fall for the 'innocent' questions. Everything is geared to draw attention and please just leave your gifts on the altar of my ego.

smh it's not funny. I am not laughing.

Why did you respond to my post to begin with? I did not address it to you. You talk about fruit, but as I showed you, LOVE is mentioned first. This is not human love, but love that issues from being filled with the Spirit of God. You laugh because I said do not hide behind God, but that is what you are doing.

Is He responsible for your snarky responses? Now you have blown off another poster.

Just what exactly do you think the business of the Holy Spirit is? His business is all about Jesus and revealing Jesus.

Truly, what is it you think fruit is? Something you grow yourself?

I don't care if you answer me or not, but in my opinion I find your behavior outrageous and you write like you are bi-polar.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaa lol,lol......this is so funny.cracking up here lol,lol

No one has the choice to be created, however under the "Calvinist predestination" view most are denied salvation.

You are okay with that?
No, most reject salvation. With fiery passion too. Actually we all do. You seem to get stuck on why doesn't God save us all, (when that's just as true for both views) the real thing is "glory to His name that He saves any of us"

As I say I have not seen any apologies for saids behaviour since I joined...not one...be careful what you say also.
Confessions are what we are looking for. We do not expect apologies. But they would be nice

@PennEd asked if you had a choice to be conceived or born, you ultimately claimed this analogy is faulty. I was merely pointing out this was Jesus’s point in John 3, you don’t choose to be conceived or born to your mum and you don’t choose to be born from above.

Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
You think the passage is about not having any choice in being born again... wow, I thought I knew quite a bit about Calvinism, but I am completely taken a back by this interpretation.

I will leave you to it... I need to go and praise God that a non Calvinist shared the Gospel with me and with a good thorough teaching on the correct understanding of this passage.

It would not be a good use of my time to try to persuade you otherwise.

Calvinism locks people down... in so many ways.

In their view if god does not elect them they have no choice they are in essence denied salvation because they have no ability to chose salvation or death
Man isn't saved via choosing. That is dogmatically denied in John 1:13 and in other passages. It is God that chooses, not man, thus He is in Sovereign control over the salvation of men, not man.

Straw man 🤦‍♂️

This is Sunday school stuff bud, Adam had free will with one limitation, don’t eat from the tree, he chose poorly and his sin is imputed to all men after causing us to all be guilty. However, God in his mercy chooses to save some by grace, the divine influence upon the heart...
Exactly the truth.

If it weren't for God electing, none would be saved.

Confess to God Bro...isn’t that what we’re supposed to do?

Bring it to God in sincerity...he knows when we aren’t sincere.
Confess our sins to each other. James 5. If we can not confess we have sinned. Especially when we love to call out others sins. We are...well hopefully you know the word that fits

Yes he is
and he said whoever calls out to him will be saved. And whoever believes in him will be given life
Those are choices we all have to make. You yourself had to make that choice. It else you never would have believed

Yep
but he will
Not set us free from sin until we call out for his mercy like the tax collector did

He will set us free in whatever ways He Can set us Free at any given moment in Time. He knows each of us and is Always Working. :)
