people need to learn to just shut their mouth and do what they are told, be good little workers and dont ever question those making all the rules.

Having something like this available in the church foyer for people to pick up when they pass by a literature display can be a great way of making an official announcement that we will not tolerate people trying to spread their lies to the flock. It will not work to actually engage these individuals and argue with them, but seeing this kind of literature might let them know that their lies are not welcome and they might keep their mouths shut about them while in church. Otherwise you may have to confront them directly. Some people are so invested in their lies that they will leave the church if you tell them that their theory is a made up lie without evidence and they should not spread it. Whereas the literature might not offend quite as much.

People aren’t always fooled, but sometimes they pretend to be because someone is intimidating them to believe something under the threat of humiliation, so the seller of a conspiracy theory may think they won when in fact nobody believed them and everyone’s free speech was silenced through intimidation.

Thankfully, Jesus Christ is the best example of being smart about turning the other cheek in these situations or otherwise making a bold move like turning the tables at the temple.

I don't believe in all conspiracy theories, just the ones that make sense to me. By the way, I don't believe Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. Van Allen radiation belts would of killed him, not to mention the radiation on the moon.

Russian scientists believe it would take two foot thick lead walls to make it past the radiation belts. The U.S. spacecraft was not any where close. We are also talking about computer technology that was from 1960's as well.

The movie Capicorn 1 was sort of like a truther movie in disguise. The truth is out there.

I have learned a lot since I first posted this thread.
Since our church started meeting outdoors and also after the July 4th Holiday I discovered that many of my friends want to talk about the news and many of them believe in one or more conspiracy theories that are not logical. It is the first things out of their mouths after not seeing their friends for months.

They are full of theories and wanting to tell people what they think. It is not going to be uncommon to hear people express belief in several theories at the same time without seeming to notice or care that they cannot all be true at the same time. As if that sort of important detail is irrelevant.

For this reason and many others like it, I realize now that I am wasting my breath if I attempt to point out an obvious flaw in their theory. They are already committed in an almost religious fervor and zeal. The best thing I will be able to do is to change the subject or find a reason to walk away.

I do think it would be wise for pastors to bring it up at their staff meetings. A plan to avoid division in the body of Christ on how to deal with conspiracy theories instead of getting into heated debates and calling our brothers and sisters names and hurling personal insults which is the strategy of satan and I can see it coming clear as day.

God has used this to teach me to be patient with people and also not think that common sense is as common as it should be.

Looks like 50% of both Brits and Russians don't believe in the moon landings, so that's a lot of tin foil, or maybe there is real concern of the historic journey. Russians plan to land on the moon in 2030, this is 50 years after the supposedly first moon landing. Russians were ahead of the Americans during the space race, until the historic landing.

Russians did ask for the Americans for help to land their first mission on the moon, but some reports indicated that America declined. From the last time I checked, the Russians are flying Americans to the International Space Station, so unless things have changed, than America is still looking for Russia for answers.

Stories like the USA did not land on the moon. It was faked and the videos are fake.

Or that if the COVID 19 Vaccine is ever proven safe and effective and made available that it will have a chip in it and you will be getting the Mark of the Beast if you get the vaccine and they will track you with an implanted chip.

Or that the death count on COVID is only half the amount reported because ALL the hospitals and all the organizations in the world are in cahoots to trick you, (all hundreds of thousands of people on the front lines are lying to us). Crazy stuff like that.

Oh and let's not forget the best of of all. 5G radio waves (until now not worth using because they are too weak) are being used to control the virus by the illuminati. Or is it Democrats. Some people who meet in a dark room in a high tower somewhere wearing satan worship robes and plan our demise.

The "COVID experience" has helped many people realize and understand that there are some things in the world that, in reality, are nothing like what they appear. They are coming to grips with the fact that they are being lied to, used, and abused for the sake of moving the world closer to the "New World Order" that some very wicked Luciferian people who have an agenda want to bring about.

Naturally, they have begun to think about "similar-sounding" things they have heard about but have dismissed until now. They are now more willing to ask the question as to if [any of] these [other] things are true.

They are beginning to wake up to the reality that [some] others are already well-aware of.

I know the reasons. The problem is that you can't explain it to people without a fight on your hands. It will require socialization and long term adaption of the views of a group they socialize with. They really don't care about the facts, they are very willing to change their views if they get what they want which is acceptance into a group. It is more of an identity issue than it is a sincere belief in the theory. That is why they see no problem with believing three views that are all contradictions as long as they are button pushing views and views that irritate folks. They enjoy the platform and it becomes their "gift" they become experts and think they are good at convincing others. If they find that they can increase their audience or get a platform by changing their view and adapting another they will do so. You can't pin them down because the theory is only serving a deeper purpose, a psychological felt need.

Most of the information we receive isn't independently verifiable, meaning that we just trust the narrative given to us. Those who give us information - often the media, the government, scientists, educators, historians - have been proven to be agenda driven, using literary devices to control what the audience thinks and often plainly spreading lies. A culture of distrust has been created.

Once an entities credibility is jeopardized then it can be impossible to recover a good reputation. There will always be the wonder "how much of what they are saying is actually true?" I'll never know.

So since gatekeepers of information often don't explain what motivates them, or offer undeniable proof, people attempt to bridge the gaps with theories.

Since we often cannot even confirm or deny a story, a conspiracy theory can be just as good of an explanation as anything, especially if it offers more reasons why something is the way it is.

I am probably somewhere in the middle of this argument over "conspiracy theories": I am around people who see a conspiracy theory behind every shooting, etc. -- and I think they are crazy!

On the other hand I know from the book of Revelation that Satan's plan and design is to take over the world: and Satan is not dumb, nor does he play by the "rules" - he will use any means he can to destroy mankind that God created.

But what would you expect of the Devil: He is going to have a "well-organized" effort by an "elite" group of "powerful" men with a "singular" goal and he will use government and media.

But the problem is that the more media and internet sources we have, the more confusing it really gets. It is almost impossible for most of us to really know what is true or false. So though I am leary of a "conspiracy theory" for everything, I know very well that the Devil is at work in our world today, and he does not have the good of man in mind!

The guards telling lies about Jesus resurrection does not mean that it is fine for Christian's to spread every made up conspiracy theory they hear. I don't understand your logic. I do not agree that witnessing Jesus Resurrection and preaching it is a conspiracy theory by any definition. The Jewish leaders conspired together to pay off the Gaurds we believe because we believe the testimony of the scriptures as our source evidence. We should not believe a YouTube video that makes unbelievable statements as our source data. If we spread lies we become liars.

The definition of "Conspiracy" is two or more people conspiring on anything for a desired outcome.

For any person to claim there isn't conspiracies is a fairy tale.

The group that conspired to overthrow the US government in the Russia Hoax, Obama, Biden, Clapper, Brennan, Yates, Comey, McCabe, Strzok, etc they all conspired for a desired outcome, just to mention one.
