The Dove song of the year 1994
Hold Me Jesus by Rich Mullins. It still has me bow my head and sit quietly before God.

If you're into covers, here is a true 90's cover (made in the 90's not ripped off of the 90's in later decades, and more importantly, it doesn't change the Rock genre): "Nirvana covering David Bowie"

Every hipster and their mother knows a banjo, ukelele, violin, viola, [insert odd esoteric non-rock instrument] version of Smells Like Teen Spirit. Nothing new there. These might be fun to listen to once in a decade at a bar outing when there aren't any sports on TV just for occasional novelty. Beyond that, they're utter and total garbage. Why not go for real garbage instead?

Since we're posting cover songs, I figured this is as good of a time as any to post two that I really like. I know....they're not 90's songs, but bear with me. Just please don't follow my example and start posting songs that aren't from the 90's....otherwise we're departing from the purpose of this thread. This is just a one time thing. I don't intend to post any more non-90's songs/cover songs.

With all that said....hope you enjoy these two.

EternalFire, I'm not sure why you think that's funny. If you're laughing at the songs I chose, then I don't appreciate that very much....

I don’t find funny. I am a big fan of Chris Cornel. And, I respect skilled musicians such as the ones in the second video. May God bless them.

BTW, I’ve never seen a guitar drum pedal like the one the cellists used. Gives me new ideas. Too bad, I don’t have the talent for playing guitar and could only play drums and percussion instruments. I don’t have an ear for melody naturally.

Sorry, by guitar drum pedal, I meant Cello drum pedal, but I can see people equally using with guitar too or any similar instrument.
