Yes it does.....only you don’t understand it!.

You cannot expect me to share treasures with a woman who laughs at what I write.
There are children in the faith and there are mature adults in the faith. Both have personal relationships with God but the difference in intimacy and understanding is astounding.
Your laughter is not going to endure me to answer your inquisition questions. You want to prove to yourself that I know nothing, but I cannot supply evidence towards that goal.Haaa...that is where you fall short...you don’t understand what it means for a child of God to have that intimate relationship with him.
.Adam and Eve had it with God,before they sinned.....did you know that?
Or are you going to deny that as well.
They knew God personally.

JR, I know that verse by heart. I was asking Stone for her weaseling out of what what Jesus meant. Most OSASers have a complex way of explaining why it doesn’t apply to them.
JR, I don’t care what you think of me. But I have a responsibility toYou shouldn’t be concerned about what others think....you are letting your feelings get in the way....but I do understand where you are coming from.........
Maybe if I pray for you....in that area..the Lord May strengthen you.
Those verses speak nothing to "losing your salvation". The bottom line is that the elect are never un-elected. But the real underlying question is: By whos or what power do we endure? The answer is quite clear in the Scripture that it is certainly not our own power. The elect are standing in grace, are continuously forgiven of their sins and brought all the way to glorification.During my reading of scripture today these words in the second letter to the Thessalonians immediately reminded me of the absurdity of Once Saved Always Saved.
2 Thessalonians 1:4-5
[4] So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: [5] Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer
What is striking about the above scripture is that it ties in perfectly with these scriptures:
Matthew 24:13
[13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Ephesians 4:1
[1] I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called
2 Thessalonians 1:11
[11] Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling
Why would Paul have to pray for them to be counted worthy if their worthiness is guaranteed and secure?
Matthew 20:16
[16] ...for many be called, but few chosen.
I understand you fairly easily. You have decided to follow a teacher here and are becoming like him. He offers you heaven no matter what. He promises you the Holy Spirit won’t leave even if you quench that fire out.I didn’t say you know nothing........I don’t understand a word you say.....maybe a little, that’s it.......same as you don’t understand me.
No context equals...... no correct, scriptural, spiritual understanding.
You don’t seem to comprehend that the Holy Spirit resides in our hearts....there he has taken up residence.
You believe he can move out.......that to my spirit is false teaching....which the Lord apposes....he hates it!!
Yes,we can wander off but God will never ever leave us.
I notice you didn’t explain how the verse where Jesus says outright many will fall away from the faith but he who endures to the end will be saved.Weaseling? Haha
I think it’s easy to understand. OSAS is easy to understand too. Four words sum it up. The truth is complex and not easy to understand.
Answer first your explanation as to why the requirement to be enduring to the end doesn’t apply to you first. Then please explain slain from the foundation of the world as you know it.
JR, I don’t care what you think of me. But I have a responsibility to
Him and He has taught me to be careful when sharing. You see this in the manner of Jesus speaking to people.
To some He gave no answer. To others He refuses to answer the question as worded because they assumed facts not in evidence. God Himself is careful in sharing truth. The Bible says He hides from certain kinds of people. You see evidence of this now in believers who’ve been christians their whole lives and can only repeat their church doctrine. They know salvation and that’s it.
do you never listen to the Spirit?
it's speaking . . . . . . . . . l i s t e n.
Not only that Holy Spirit has taken up residence, but we are a new creation being formed in His image. Whatever we face, He will strengthen us. Give us particular word for our situations.
Tongues is very helpful for it’s our language of power.![]()
This is how the cults start. Mormons are convinced God gave Joseph Smith his personal revelation, for example. He, too, didn’t compare it to scripture. Islam started that way as well. These men got personal revelation.
Translation: you have no treasures to share. You’re simply a tare who’s sole purpose is to sow discord among Christian brethren. Even Jackie sees this, and that says a lot.You cannot expect me to share treasures with a woman who laughs at what I write.
