How about if they are actual foreign languages that the speaker did not learn? Are those extinct already?
Why do you say they are not? Also, the Bible says a person speaks with the tongues of men or of angels. It does not say that tongues are a language of men currently being spoken in the world today.

It was the case in acts 2

That's right. But that is not guaranteed, and rarely happens. That's why Paul said that if tongues are spoken aloud in the church they must be interpreted.
Right, because you can verify those, unlike now correct? ;)

Are you superior to other Christians because you have the gift of tongues?
1 Corinthians 12:11-15KJV
11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

Again, what would satisfy you? Hearing someone speak in tongues in a language you understood? The Bible does not promise that. Would you have to see fire come down from heaven and land on someone as they were speaking in tongues? The Bible does not promise that.

As I have said, there is a reason why people focus on tongues in the "heavenly langauge", compared to other gifts.

They cannot be verified at all.

Tongues is never called a gift in the Bible. It is one of the nine manifestations of the gift of the Holy Spirit. Because every Christian has the gift of the Holy Spirit, every Christian has the ability to speak in tongues whether he knows it or not, believes it or not. Even Nehemiah. :)

Jesus Christ Is Lord
Amen!

You did not answer the question. What would convince you? Or do you believe that since you don't think tongues can be verified, we should deny them? Ignore them? Forbid them?

One of the men is praying to God in his known language, the other is operating a manifestation of the gift of the gift of the Holy Spirit, praying in a language he does not know.
all your doing is repeating my question. this just reconfirms what i said.

Speaking in tongues is not "babble sounds". It is you speaking in a language you do not know as inspired by the Spirit.
unless your a tongue speaker, they are in fact babbel sounds that anyone can copy.

Speaking in tongues is not a witnessing tool. It is not for missionary work. It is a Christian speaking TO God (1 Cor 14:2).
if you really believe that, please explain how did people speak to the Most High before (1 Cor 14:2

I already stated it’s the foreign languages, as in acts 2.

No I am not saying forbid, there is a chance of course that those Shaba Shaba types are also tongues. Anyway this issue is non salvific, if nothing else, I guess it is useful as some kind of placebo effect
