So you say nasty things to me instead of providing scripture. But it’s OK because OSAS has only a handful of sentences pulled out to piece together a theology that negates all the warnings. I know them all as there aren’t many so you are pretty much at a loss.
Some of your side even described being concerned for their salvation and instead of taking the warnings seriously got their relief in feeling God promising them what they want personally in their heart in violation of what they had read. I know believers who earnestly prayed God would strengthen them instead of relying on theology.
I asked you for a scripture to back up your claim that Judas didn’t acknowledge Jesus as Lord which you think is why he was lost as opposed to the others who, in your view did. You assume Judas didn’t and the others did because you want that to be the reason Judas is lost, not because a single scripture backs you up.
Judas was lost because he changed his mind about
following Jesus. This is the point that OSAS cannot admit happens. It is the simplest and most common reason people fall away and Jesus gave the reasons.
It seems you want it to be that way for some reason as there is no Scripture to even remotely suggest that what you claim is true (Judas was saved but later changed his mind)... whereas I have given Scriptural answers to your questions, even if you reject them. That is on you.
1And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, 2and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal. 3And he said to them, “
Correct, they all operated in power. But that isn't a case for Judas' salvation. Jesus says here: Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
"never knew you"
I never knew you.
Does this sound like they were saved and known by Jesus, but then lost salvation?

I believe dcon called JUDAS the devil from the beginning, and not any conversation participants...
If I am wrong let him correct me, since I was about to say something about it myself but then realized he was talking about Judas...
You are so obstinate to the truth and quit peddling lies about us...WE FULLY ACKNOWLEDGE JUDAS WAS NEVER SAVED AND THEN LOST IT...get some honesty or go find another thread to peddle your lies in.

You insist they did and Judas didn’t from pure assumption. I asked for the scriptures that support your assumption that Judas was different in that he never said Jesus was lord. That is not the reason Judas was lost. That is the point. There is no scripture describing this as the reason. Judas chose money over following Jesus.
Jesus came to seek and save the lost. No because I want it that way but because that is what Jesus explicitly said.
Judas was lost too. So we’re the 70 who left. So we’re the pharisees.

No you didn’t. Jesus appointed the 12, including Judas, to go and minister and Judas did. There is no scripture saying Judas didn’t surrender and the others did. There is no scripture saying Judas was different than the others EXCEPT he started stealing from the money box. That is actually what scripture says. There is no scripture saying Judas didn’t acknowledge Jesus as Lord and the others did. All of this you are making up. It says he was stealing which didn’t start from day 1.
If it's interpreted that way (in the sense of, Judas was saved then lost salvation), how do you reconcile that with John 18:9,
"That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none."
Judas was never saved.... the devil does not enter a saved person.
Judas Iscariot became possessed by a devil. And when Jesus said “and one of you is a devil” he was referring to that devil in Judas, just like he referred to Satan when he said to Peter, “Get thee behind me, Satan,” in Matt 16:23.
None of them support your position that Judas never acknowledged that Jesus is Lord but the others did. None of them support your position that Judas never surrendered his sin nature but the others did. Yes you have some scripture but they don’t support your position. You OSAS guys are really quick to personally attack. I didn’t say anything against your character and you call me lying. Not mistaken but lying.
This is the bad fruit from OSAS I continually see.
Outward appearances can be far from where a person's heart is.
If he followed Jesus physically it was for selfish motives and this comes out in his final choices.

Where does the scripture say any of them at that point were now saved and would always be saved??
They were not yet filled with the Holy Spirit. Notice the scripture says Satan entered Judas only after Judas had already laid plans of his own free will to betray him. He had DONE wrong. This wasn’t so from the beginning.

I agree, and this can be supported with the Scriptures about Judas. John 12:6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.
