1 John 5:13 reads, " I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. "

This verse is in the present tense. It says nothing about continuing to believe.
The presence tense is never past nor future. Hast to remain present.

Judas cast out demons and healed the sick. That’s not superficial. He changed his mind for money. Happens.
doesn't mean he was saved.

Psalms 41:9
9 Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted,
Who ate my bread,
Has lifted up his heel against me.

So if a believer starts to stray God kills them??? You know, Jesus didn’t say the plants (faith) that withered or choked out would be plucked up. He also says the branches that didn’t bear fruit would be cut off and burned, not cut off before they didn’t bear fruit because they weren’t.
We all stray from time to time but he looks to the heart of a person I can't even begin to count the times I have strayed from him but he is always waiting and calling for us to return. The salvation and the fruits of a person is not based on their strength or their wisdom or the ability to produce fruits as with everything in both faith and in life it begins and ends with the heart. This goes back to the seeds and soil, you can show fruits at first but the thorns and rocks will make them wither.

I think the reason a persons heart is not yet fully prepared to truly produce fruits is because God wants to be first he wants children who will seek him out all day every day, children who have that hunger and crave to know him and have him and devlop a kind of love with him not just for him but with him that goes beyond that of the average believer, it wasn't until everything in my life was garbage to me that I was able to truly come to him and I don't think that was an accident.

I knew them before and after. It really isn’t difficult. VCO wrote he/she doesn’t believe I’m even saved. How was that done?

You talk about faith being in your head, I talk about TRUE FAITH BEING IN YOUR HEART.

That is the OPPOSITE of what I KNOW IS THE TRUTH. And so much of your theology cross-grains with our beliefs.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt in the beginning, but You swiftly became OSAS hater.

Usually I can feel a kindred spirit with someone who REALLY IS SAVED after talking to them for awhile. I do not have that with you, so yes I do have a real doubt if you have truly been BORN AGAIN.

TELL ME, in your own words, HOW YOU WERE BORN AGAIN, and HOW YOU KNOW IT WAS REAL ? ? ?

I am not wanting you to quote scripture, but openly and honestly TELL ME HOW IT HAPPENED.

You seem to me like the TYPE of disciple that only said the sinners prayer in their head, AND are on the Broad Road leading to Destruction, thinking they are a Christian. Show me I am wrong by your answers to my questions.

Just so you know, that is me:

Not a reference to losing salvation, the candle stick is not salvation.
These salvation losing jokers absolutey deny context on a regular basis....exactly why hell will be filled with the many that come before the throne with a claim of fame and peddling their own self effort and self sustained salvation.....tragic and sickening at the same time

Judas cast out demons and healed the sick. That’s not superficial. He changed his mind for money. Happens.

See what I mean, YOU BELIEVE THE OPPOSITE of ME.

JUDAS did not Cast out Demons, or Heal the SICK, he was content with carrying the money box.

Yes He sent them out two by two, so the other disciple with him did the miracles, NOT JUDAS:

John 12:6 (NCV)
6 But Judas did not really care about the poor; he said this because he was a thief. He was the one who kept the money box, and he often stole from it.

Matthew 12:26 (NCV)
26 And if Satan forces out himself, then Satan is divided against himself, and his kingdom will not continue.

John 17:12 (NCV)
12 While I was with them, I kept them safe by the power of your name, the name you gave me. I protected them, and only one of them, the one worthy of destruction, was lost so that the Scripture would come true.

I am not eloquent with words but I will never defend, coddle, give a kumbya to falseness
Same here....this worldly Kum Ba Yah love peddled by false religionists, salvation losers and Jesus devaluers is no where near biblical! Nor will I embrace anyone that peddles a gospel that has no power to save a flea, much less a man......love and truth go hand in hand.....and this skewed mushy worldly love has crept into the Lord's churches and watered down the truth and the absolute stance we are to make against false teachers that make two fold the disciples of hell!

Everyone dies. It happens to both the just and the unjust. They just say this to prop up their Calvinistic OSAS beliefs. They think/say God will kill you before He lets you "throw the keys in the lake".
False again....NOT EVERYONE dies....man can you get anything right? And the mouthy comment against the peddlers of Calvin's DOGMA does not support your losable salvation any more than all the scripture you peddle out of context!

She is good at twisting scripture. She is good at telling others how much she "lives out her salvation" and the rest of us do not.
Amen to that.....very self righteous indeed.....

Like Paul said....Jesus came to save sinners of whom I am chief!

He did not come to the self righteous that constantly peddle how good they are and how much they love God more than we do!

A. Judas was a devil from the beginning
B. Judas was never clean
C. Judas was the SON OF PERDITION
D. Judas was a thief and betrayer

Judas was NEVER saved and then lost it....

He was NEVER SAVED....A devil from the beginning, THE SON OF PERDITION and was NEVER CLEAN accoeding to the scriptures....salvation losers LOVE TO USE JUDAS as one of their "Go to examples" in an attempt to peddle a losable salvation!

That verse doesn’t speak of salvation at all.
Faking it? In my view they fell away for the reasons Jesus describes. In 2. above you speak of those who leave we’re never saved. How do you distinguish between those who leave for other reasons? Ah but if you leave, the others will say you were never saved at all.
Well thanks for your opinion

But I can not agree

How does that approach work for you? Getting the response you desire?
What does it matter

Should I get mad at one and not mad at the other

What kind of response is this. You have some issues my friend. Your anger is worrysome

I am not sure on this....but I find eternally grateful knowledgeable in scripture....I have been told that if I am continually disobedient..knowingly it can end in death....?
Will it end in death? Can you continually be disobedient?
