He would never accept

I am seriously worried about you lack of faith in gods ability to hold us
This site is overrun with salvation losers that deny scripture every time they post this drivel.....nothing but out of context, skewed and twisted or embellished scripture.....
Not true

Just because he can chose to accept does not mean they will
The bible is clear....God only deludes those that will not receive the love of the truth...NO SAVED child of GOD will take the mark, only LOST men will identify with the beast and for sure NO ONE can or will lose or forfeit salvation!

John 10:25-30
25“I already told you,” Jesus replied, “but you did not believe. The works I do in My Father’s name testify on My behalf. 26 But because you are not My sheep, you refuse to believe. 27 My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”

@jackrosie ...
What strikes me out from these Scriptures is where Jesus tells us that we are not only in His hands , but also our Fathers hand , I mean to me that is a beautiful secure blessing \:)/
We would have to be more powerful than God Himself to slip out from His hand...

I imagine our Lord Jesus`s hand holding us , then our Fathers hand wrapped around His Sons hand , doubly snuggled ;)
...xox...
Amen Rose.....obviously they have no concept of....

KEPT by the POWER OF GOD
Saved to the UTTERMOST
Jesus Loses NOTHING
HE BEGINS, FINISHES AND COMPLETES work of faith in us
ETERNALLY justified
SEALED UNTO THE DAY OF REDEMPTION
ETERNALLY sanctified
Given eternal/everlasting life
will never die but be raised up
What Gid does is everlasting

etc.

Heb 10
10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if [any man] draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

I will pray that v.39 fitly describes all of us.
Oyster my friend. You must stop misapplying Hebrews. Dig into some commentaries, take some time and thoroughly understand that book. For the vast majority of gentiles, it really does not apply to us IMO. It was a set of serious problems pertaining to Hebrews only. Quite frankly a raw recruit gentile back then (or today) would probably not have the slightest idea of what the author of Hebrews was even talking about.

Amen. False teachers/doctrines have infiltrated our churches and the lives of believers for a long time. I refuse to sit back and love their actions.
Same....and some on this site that know the truth coddle them, refuse to oppose them, and bag us out when we stand up against their deceitful false gospels

I am actually not upset. I tend to try to be succinct ... maybe that comes across as upset....but rest assured I am not.

I agree with all you have written here,

However, not really my point...... perhaps you are naive to the damage of false doctrine

I do not know your life experiences, but I can assure you God hates any doctrine which denies the full efficacy of the blood of Christ

and seeks to add any human effort to salvation.
So do the saved children of God being led by God

Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

I really like how Paul addressed the false doctrine of the Galatians regarding circumcision....

Galatians 3 New International Version (NIV)
Faith or Works of the Law

3 You foolish Galatians! <= I just bust out laughing with this one, I love it! Paul definitely hated false doctrine! God does use hard and abrasive people to bring correction.(y)

Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. 2 I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard? 3 Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?[a] 4 Have you experienced[b] so much in vain—if it really was in vain? 5 So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? 6 So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”[c]

Anyways, always a pleasure speaking with you!(y)
Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

Not true

Just because he can chose to accept does not mean they will
Again, the simple point I am making is, "If he accepts, he would have lost his salvation." I am not telling him to accept.

That is what Hebrews to Revelations is warning those who will believe in Jesus, during the Tribulation.

There is NO IF and NO loss of SALVATION.....get that through your head!
If you want to force Romans to Philemon to also apply during the Tribulation, you will find that it contradicts with what Hebrews to Revelations is trying to teach.

There is NO CONTRADICTION....the BIBLE does not teach or promote a losable salvation at any point and NO saved child of GOD will take the mark.....!!

Since I have already mentioned 1 Peter, Hebrews and Revelations, let's now look at 1 John:

1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

1 John 3:
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

John is urging Israel to abide in him in 1 John 2, what does he meant by abide? He explains in 1 John 3, those who sin not are the ones that abide in him.

So if one takes the mark of the beast, that is a clear indication of not abiding in him.

He will only be ashamed when Jesus finally returns at his 2nd coming for Israel. There will be no future salvation for him to expect, as John said in vs8, he is of the devil.

This is in-line with what is stated in Revelations 14:9-12.

How does being ashamed translate into losing salvation?

It really doesn"t.

Think Back . . .

NOT THAT FAR BACK.

When you were first SAVED, was their just a Great Deal of anticipation, about what HE would do in my LIFE.

For me, it was WONDER and ANTICIPATION, and I remember I was smiling a lot.

Precious Memories - some times I want Think Back, and at Other Times I want to think Forward.

If you are reading what Paul stated clearly in Romans to Philemon into 1 John 2, you will naturally conclude it doesn't. That is understandable.

As I said, its in line with Revelations 14:9-12, have you read that passage? John, like Peter, was believing in a future salvation for Israel, when Jesus return to usher them to the promised Kingdom.

May we not believe in vain.

“Now I am reminding you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you indeed received and in which you also stand. Through it you are also being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you, unless you believed in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:1-2).

I think many have explained here, what Paul meant by believing in vain, he spelt it out later on in vs 14

14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

"Believe in vain" here refers to what happen if Christ had not risen from the dead. It refers to a fact.

It has nothing to do with the state of our believing. In this sense, he is preaching OSAS. ;)

1John :4

God’s Love and Ours.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.
Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
Whoever does not love does not know God.because God is love.
This is how God showed his love among us.
He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
This is love:not that we loved God,but that he loved us and sent his son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Dear friends, since God so loved us,we also ought to love one another,God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
We know that we live in him and he in us,because he has given us his Spirit.
And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Saviour of the world.
If anyone acknowledges, that Jesus is the Son of God.
God lives in him and he in God.
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love.
Whoever lives in Love lives in God and God in him.
In this way,Love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgement, because in this world we are like him.
There is no fear in love.
But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment.
The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
We love because he first loved us.
If anyone says,I love God,yet hates his brother,he is a liar.
For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God,whom he has not seen.
And he has given us this command:
Whoever loves God must also love his brother.
