Works follow after salvation....
Good works and bad works often follow salvation. If a baby believer is not properly discipled in the word and amongst other believers, then they may remain a baby, immature believer their entire life with little to show.

I am not judge.....you have never met God personally...no one has....you meet him when your body dies....but you must be born again for this to happen....you would perish if you saw God in his full glory.
If you only knew

I have met God

He made me alive in hi. Have me his spirit. Leads me guides me. I can come to him with my worried and my sorrows

Have I met him face to face? Well if I did as he said I would die. But to say I never met him

Well I hear to many say this that’s sad

It’s difficult to embrace the magnitude of incorrectness in this post.
I actually am right. He lived 33 years. He taught 3 years. His ministry of teaching did not start until he was 30. Before that time he did not teach the truth he knew. You can read of the times he taught, what he said was so little compared to what he knew. He even said he had more to teach but they couldn’t take it. Ergo, he was silent much more than he taught.

1John 12.

No -one has ever seen God,but if we love one another.
God lives in us and his Love is made complete in us.
In the beginning was the word. The word was god the word is god

As John said whoever sins has never known god. Whoever is born if god has
Not sinned

I pray you find the relationship god is offering you

You trying to twist my words is not helping you

In fact it just once again shows
Me something about you

If you had met him you wouldn’t be thinking mostly of your worries and sorrows. Your posts would also be completely different.

They were not rejected on the basis of their fruit.... Jesus did not know them at any point in time.

They boasted of their works... but their works held no merit to Jesus.
Amen.

I receive salvation by grace through faith but don't have a relationship with him, will I still be saved?
Is it possible that if I don't have a relationship with God, then I was not really saved?
How do we measure if someone is really saved?
Or how can we tell if it's not real faith?

"Relationship"

Amen, it is ones faith and relationship with God. Hence the fruits are produced(John 15)
Amen

Works which produce fruit are a byproduct of salvation. Not a requirement to earn salvation

Many will produce much fruit. Many will produce little fruit. I feel most will be in between. But even babes in Christ are still in christ

Because I care about those who suffer from your sin I need to be born again??? Is that so I only care about my salvation?
Please respond to my question

I will not respond to you until you respond to your accusation and mynrebuttle

I thought you believed in the fact that our works will save us since you don't agree with those who say our works have nothing to do with our salvation. So I thought you were being sarcastic by giving that answer. Am so sorry, I really misunderstood you.
You have not Misunderstood her my friend. Listen closely. And you will find out what the rest of us have learned

Once again

You accused me of not knowing what you believe

I responded by asking you two questions

Please respond. Or in silence prove I was right

Works follow after salvation....
I learned something in this thread and am just going to paraphrase it:
Past
Something happened(what happened?recieving salvation by faith through Christ)
Present
Something is happening(what is happening? sanctification which also involves works/fruit produced)
Future
Something is going to happen(what will happen? The physical body will be glorified)
=salvation
The explanation of salvation does not favor"works has nothing to do with salvation"

What is your definition of salvation?

I who as dead in trespasses and sin have been made alive in Christ justified (saved) freely by the blood of Christ saved sealed and adopted forever. Not based on what I have done am doing or will do but based on Christ’s finished work on the cross

Forgive those who attack and falsely accuse you.
Then you must be quite satisfied having assurance of your deepest desire. I am not in the least being sarcastic. I really mean it. You are likely quite satisfied.
So tell us: does God have eternal love for the Israelites? Yes or no.

Very Christian like....being accused of being trolls.....because we disagree with some of their teaching.

It reminds me of a parent who pushes their child’s face in their dinner, because they don’t like it,so refuse to eat it....and the parent shouts... “You Will Eat It”..it’s called control......thank you Lord that you are the one leading me.
"their teaching" you say?

Okay let's settle the matter of what constitutes correct "teaching" with a very simple question shall we?

Who was it that led the conquest of Canaan? I said it was Lord Jesus Messiah as the Bible makes clear. And who do you say it is?

They didn’t have relationship with Him. Works or even fruit won’t save one.
I never thought they did. You haven’t understood me.
I had to comment coz it seems like I also misunderstood you. If I misunderstood you, then I probably misunderstood "not by works".

Maybe they are not advocating evil, they are just saying that at the end of the day works are not sufficient to save us.

The thing is I didn't hear anyone say that Works do not save us but we should not take advantage of the grace of God and deliberately indulge in evil. They emphasize faith and seem to devalue the importance of fruits or works in the life of the Christian.

I got the impression that they didn't want anything to do with works or fruits.

I believe works or the fruits of the Spirit are as important as our faith in God.
