PR where do you get those little cartoon things of yourself on the internet. Can you design them yourself, is it hard??
We just got a rumor that because of Covid-19, we can’t sing in church. I have to say that this is an answer to prayer. I’ve been begging God to do something about the beautiful music and awful narcissistic words coming out of Bethel and Hillsong and others songs we sing for months.
What’s wrong, you ask? The songs focus on the singer most of the time. What do I mean, you ask? There are lines that talk about what we’ll wear (no joke.) One says God didn’t even want to be in Heaven without us. One sings as Jesus suffered on the cross he thought of “me, most of all.” Is that not narcissistic? Me me me my my my....I I I ...It used to be we sang of “You” to Him or of him and humbly called just “singing.”
Now we focuse on us, what we got out the matter and have elevated that part of our meeting to “worship.”
