If good works prove saving faith what about the evil works you do?
Secondly can you earn rewards from God by your works? If yes, will you also earn punishments for your evil deeds?
not punishment, but the loss of rewards

I have not really considered that.. but something to consider.
I see LS as a method of control more than about money... people are terrified that they are not saved unless they can prove it.
What does Matthew 5:48 have to do with the Timothy passage? A believer may grieve the Holy Spirit through his life, but the Lord knows who are His by the seal, not by what He observes in the flesh. The end of the Timothy verse is a command to those in Christ. Shouldn’t we depart from iniquity? Departing from iniquity does not prove one’s salvation.
Do you have saving faith? Or do you have to wait till your last breath in order to know that?
We all fall short of perfection...daily. LS doesn’t teach perfection, that’s a straw man those who oppose LS erect to tear down and/or burn.Isn't falling short of the perfection expected by the Father, iniquity? Do you set your own standard to depart from iniquity?
not punishment, but the loss of rewards
They don’t either, but they rail against it anyways. It’s Don Quixote meet windmills all over again.Yes, I have saving faith and I know it now. Excuse me but I don't get the debate. Christ is Lord of our lives. I don't get this Lordship Salvation deal.
Yes, it scares people to live a life of obedience and giving is a part of that.

So ls teaches obedience to a standard set by humans and not a standard set by the Lord (Mathew 5:48)?
Nope.So ls teaches obedience to a standard set by humans and not a standard set by the Lord (Mathew 5:48)?
Yes , this does not have to do with salvation so much as our priesthood before God. There are those who will suffer loss: "If it is burned up, he will suffer loss. He himself will be saved, but only as if through the flames. Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple, and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?" (1cor3:15)Do you have the assurance you are saved?
"TEKEL means that you have been weighed on the scales and found deficient. PERES means that your kingdom has been divided and given over to the Medes and Persians.” (Daniel 5:27) I would think that if you are going to weigh the good and the evil - God is going to expect us to be more good than evil.So doing both good and evil works determines you have saving faith?
They die as martyrs for their false beliefs. You mean to say sincere to their wrong beliefs?
Isn't falling short of the perfection expected by the Father, iniquity? Do you set your own standard to depart from iniquity?
Deuteronomy 28 talks not about loss of rewards but about punishments.
Nope. But we are to help those in need. We are commanded to do these things. Bad ppl can do good things, but it doesn’t mean they‘re good ppl. Good ppl can do bad things but it doesn’t mean they’re bad ppl.
Sorry, but this does not connect to what I wrote.
Yes it does.Deuteronomy 28 talks about rewards and punishments for good and evil works.
So in other words you can't accept correction of your errors and misreprentations? Start there.
