Jesus died for all past sins. But the Bible is clear that sinning in ignorance is still forgivable in God's eyes (Numbers 15:27).
And God is able to even prevent you from sinning when you are conducting yourself in the integrity of your heart (Genesis 20:6).
At last you have responded to me after many responses I have made to posts you have made.
Ok so sin is forgivable if done in ignorance.
Did Jesus die for those sins?
If so why so? If he had to die for them then it's a sin that needed to be atoned for?
If so then it's sin then we have no excuse.
Jesus died for all sins, past and future. If he did not then we are stuffed.
Because the sins of omission can only be forgiven when we confess/repent of them.
Genesis 20:6
6 And God said to him in a dream, “Yes, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart. For I also withheld you from sinning against Me; therefore I did not let you touch her.
Abimileche was a pagan king, not a believer in God.
God interjefted after Abraham comitted willful sin by not trusting God. He lied and didn't trust God.
Numbers 15:27-29
27 ‘And if a person sins unintentionally, then he shall bring a female goat in its first year as a sin offering. 28 So the priest shall make atonement for the person who sins unintentionally, when he sins unintentionally before the Lord, to make atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. 29 You shall have one law for him who sins unintentionally, for him who is native-born among the children of Israel and for the stranger who dwells among them.
If a person commits a unintentional sin it still needs to be atoned for.
A sacrifice still needs to be made.
If a sacrifice still needs to made then it's a sin that seperats us from God.
If that's the case then we have no excuse.
Yet you quote the above as if you have an excuse because sins of omission to do not count.
Jesus left no room for sins of omission.
We should know better.
I seek the Lord to reveal to me the things I didn't do.
I acknowledge the things I did do that was wrong, to thank him that I have been forgiven.
I'm more concerned with the sins of omission than those of commission because I know the sins of commission and I ask for help.
Given my thoughts based on your posts that I have read you do not give two hoots about the sins of omission.
As I said Jesus left no room for sins of omission.
