Hebrews 10:26-29 should awake every believer to righteousness so that they will not commit sin (1 Corinthians 15:34).
Jhn 3 said they can;t continue in sin

Why do you keep calling the apostle John a liar?

Heb 10 is about returning to law and as doing so rejecting Grace.

And that's all you can come back with. Just a few verses with no respect to answer my post.

Shame on you.

But I know why.

Sins of omission do not count for you, EVEN THOUGH THE LAW IS WRITTEN ON OUR HEARTS, THEREFORE THERE IS NO EXCUSE, but for you there is..

You are quite happy to break the laws of the land that are not mentioned in the bible.

Is smoking a sin?

Is all sin not willful?

Did Jesus only die for the sins of commission and not die for the sins of omission?

Do we infact have an excuse for sins of omission?

After all if he has written his law on our hearts do we have an excuse?
Jesus died for all past sins. But the Bible is clear that sinning in ignorance is still forgivable in God's eyes (Numbers 15:27).

And God is able to even prevent you from sinning when you are conducting yourself in the integrity of your heart (Genesis 20:6).

Then it would not say "willfully", would it?

Peace be to you.

they can not both be true

If A child who is born of God can not sin, They can not willfully sin causing no more sacrifice to be required.

You have a major problem here my friend
Amen! The unrighteous practice sin. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10; 5:19-21) Not the righteous who are born of God. (1 Corinthians 6:11; 1 John 3:9)

No, they returned to sin.
Of course

The law can not take away sin, So they continued in sin, Just like the pharisee. who were called By Jesus sinners..

Hebrews is about the difference between Law and grace.. Not grace and sin.

I have criminal free record.

And you are lying.

You do not know how I conduct myself every hour of the day.

Try to be mature.

If they would see themselves as the law sees them (how sinful they realy are) they would realize this and stop puffing themselves up

I am lying?

I am going off your gospel. You claim salvation can be lost if you sin willfully correct?

Where there is no grace available there is only guilt.
The person who walks away from God's grace doesn't have any grace left to remove his guilt.

"26If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire..." - Hebrews 10:26
I’m talking about those who don’t.

If he was a threat I might agree, but anyone who ready him would see his insincerity, so I do not see him as a threat.

i hardly come into this thread anymore, and what I see, hardly anyone does, because of this stain

i use the old adage, if we stop talking to them and ignore them they will go away, because if they are not being fed, that will go where they can get fed
I hear you brother , it is good to wipe or feet...

Sometimes I wonder if this thread can become an Idol , I say that because in the past , I have often felt the urge to come in and see what is being posted , like a drawing to it , and that is not healthy , sometimes we have to step back and get some fresh air lol...

I claim nothing.

I say what the Bible says.

Christianity can become illegal one day. I guess I should obey that law when it comes into existence and deny Christ, you think?

All past sins, before being born again, were dealt with at the cross.

A believer who willfully sins in the future, after his belief in the gospel, has trodden under foot the son of God and has counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an holy thing and has done despite unto Spirit of grace (Hebrews 10:26, 29).
The problem is you are not taking into ALL the context:

(Heb 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.)

(Heb 10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.)

(Heb 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.)

(Heb 10:11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins)

The context is between Christ's sacrifice and the old covenant sacrificial system, there is no going back to that system as that would be counting the blood of the covenant an unholy thing, that is the willful sin. According to you one willful sin and you is toast.

(Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?)

There is a reason this letter was written to that particular Hebrew generation of Jesus' time because the temple was still standing and the sacrificial system was still being practiced which in theory they could go back to.
