So we all have foods that take a while to really enjoy. What are some of yours?

Mine are sushi, boba, and oddly enough gravy.

Southern fried chicken, corn pone, collard greens and baked sweet potato. Served with a tall glass of iced tea, and topped off with a chunk of Mama's chocolate fudge cake.

I like beef jerky or used to like it, but these day I do not know where to find it, living here in Spain. Thank you....
Don’t they have jamon there? I hear it’s like the best cured meat EVER?

No, I'm from USA. Friend of mine brought a jar back from Australia and I tried it. I detested Vegemite at first, but it grew on me over time. I now like it.

I only very very recently started liking biscuits or toast with jelly AND butter. For some reason I only ever liked one or the other

Jamon Serrano is smoke cured ham. I do not care for it. I have tasted it over the past 35 years but it just does not get to my preference zone at all. PS, you may want to look up that. It may not be smoked but it is cured.

Oh no! Not I. I am afraid to make yogurt, let alone try natural preservation of a meat. Also, these days I do not buy much beef...………...lots of chicken though.
