my opinion, do not forget this us open forum
Well, one would hope you would respect the premises of this thread and the people who are coming here. You don't have to like it, that's ok. But to degrade people who do enjoy it is not right. Doesn't seem like the kinder soul that I have seen in other threads. Are you doing ok? If you need to talk, feel free to reach out to me in The Chat Thread Up.

This true, it is. There also premise for all the Threads. If you read the beginning part of this, it's ok you don't like Star Wars, that's ok.
You are listed as a Christian. I leave you with this. Do you feel that coming in here and acting thr way you are to people who have done not a thing to you is very Christian like?
No need to answer food for thought.

Of course the guy talking about corny, boring and dorky had to take a break from spam posting crappy music to say so. And in such poor English. I'm afraid your opinion doesn't hold much value in light of your own character flaws.

By the way, a mod Approved this thread to be posted here.

this thread is wrong section and it it's trying to manipulate the sisters in Christ, by fantasies of portraying non realistic plessures of self, so I stand in honor of God and the Women on here not to be bamboozled by inappropriate and un intellegence... Amen!

Blain, it is great to have you (and everyone here for good and clean fun) to enjoy good and clean Star Wars related things! I have not had the pleasure of seeing the Mandeloion (I know i am misspelling it, sorry folks) yet. It has taken me a long while to warm up to baby yoda, but the little tike is growing in me.
This ones for you!

tbh I am not sure I am into baby yoda it's cute but so helpless until it's about 500 years old. oh fun fact btw the mandaloreon or how ever you spell them is actually based on a real scientific thing in our own bodies they work essentially the same way they live inside us and benifet us but oddly enough it doesn't benefit them they just rent our bodies and so it is theorized that sometime in the future the force would be a real thing.

Well, I'm making a green light saber and practicing😄.

Very interesting how he researched religions and added aspects into the movies. Like I said at the beginning, if you watch them you can pick out Christianity in it.
And then there's Disney🙄...where the actual Star Wars movies ended (First three character driven thus the best I believe, next 3 were special effects driven...last three are, in my opinion, not star wars movies, just sci fi movies... funny-picture-Disney-directing-Star-Wars-story.jpg

Up, I'm honestly surprised -- normally your posts are upbeat and uplifting.

You definitely have a right to your own opinion but here in Singles, it's normal for people to post about their hobbies and interests (check out Lynx's Secret Menu food that's going on right now.) Although there aren't any absolute rules, part of being single is not having anyone to talk to about our hobbies and interests, so we try to encourage that here in this part of the forum.

If you're telling BlessedByGod to grow up, you're going to have to scold a good number of the rest of us as well.

I was a kid when the original Star Wars came out and I still love the original 3 movies (let's not talk about the others -- in fact, let's just forget they exist.) :) I can still remember the movie trailer on TV and stopping whatever I was doing when it came on just to watch Luke swing across the screen in awe.

One day, my Dad gathered us kids up and said he was taking us somewhere, but we had to guess where we were going on the way there. The entire trip, all we could think of is that we were going to Grandma's house, because that's really the only place we had been. However, my Dad had other plans.

I can still remember him slowly driving past (what seemed like at the time) the GIANT billboard poster outside with Luke and Leia right on the front. Dumbfounded, we looked up at him as he pointed to it and said, "THAT is where we're going." Our family didn't have much money, but my Dad had saved enough to take us to the theater for the very first time. Back then, there was no such thing as rentals or streaming. If you didn't catch a movie while it was in theaters, it was gone forever, and all you could do was hope to catch the edited version on TV several years later.

My Dad later took us to The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi in a similar fashion.

I will always have an emotional connection to the original Star Wars trilogy. I felt a great connection to Luke's character because he was a nobody -- just an orphaned farm boy -- and even as a young child, I treasured that, because I had been an orphan too.

To me, Star Wars isn't about the things most people debate about when the subject comes up.

For me, Star Wars will always represent a father's love for his kids (not just any father, but MY father) and his quiet observation of something that became one of my most prominent childhood memories.

And that is a part of me that will unapologetically never grow up, no matter how much I might be scolded or criticized for that.

BlessedByGod, I've enjoyed this thread very much (it's a whole lot better than the Disney movies), and thank you for posting! :)

For those who do not get the last panel, both the guy and girl are pretending to be Star Wars fans (to avoid the big problem illustrated in the first six panels,) both the guy and girl do not know that each other is pretending and both are relieved because they think they have fooled each other.

Life is tough for Star Trek fans these days.

A bit of pasting together here, but this is amusing for Star Wars and Star Trek fans alike. The Star Wars vs Star Trek movie.

VADER: "The emperor does not share your optimistic appraisal."
