What's your proof on this?
So, this letter meant nothing to people at the time of Peter?
It was written to some future audience?
Sounds like typical dispensational exegesis![]()
Who are the strangers in the last days? When are the last days?

Here's some good notes from the NIV Biblical Theology Study Bible:

The Jews kept the law by not doing anything. Just as you claim the same by not resisting. It's all works of the Law. You shall accept Christ = not resist = have no other Gods, before me.
Some did keep God's commandments and didn't fall because they didn't get proud about itThe Jews kept the law by not doing anything. Just as you claim the same by not resisting. It's all works of the Law. You shall accept Christ = not resist = have no other Gods, before me.
The Jews kept the law by not doing anything.
Living by the law meant not stealing. Not murdering, not coveting, not bearing false witness...... Just like Arminians say we save ourselves by "not resisting". It's all law and zero grace. This is a false statement. The opposite is true. Those who kept the law, lived by the law. It was all about doing the works of the law.
Only Jesus kept the commandments in the Sermon on the Mount. Some did keep God's commandments and didn't fall because they didn't get proud about it
"I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; because Abraham obeyed Me and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes and My laws.”Only Jesus kept the commandments in the Sermon on the Mount.
We (believers) are Israel and the wicked unbelievers cut off and placed under God's wrath."I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; because Abraham obeyed Me and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes and My laws.”
Like many other people in the Bible, Abraham was not perfect, but he did keep the God's commandments (in the spirit op the law). He who loves the Lord keeps His commandments. Keeping the The Royal Law is plenty sufficient to do well with God and people.
The Bible mentions the pre-trib Rapture many times. Just because the word "rapture" is not in the English language Bible does not mean anything. This is an important Bible doctrine which you obviously have failed to see. That's what happens when people follow the doctrines of men.How do you believe in the pre-trib rapture if you don't read books? The bible never mentions it.
Prove it.The Bible mentions the pre-trib Rapture many times. Just because the word "rapture" is not in the English language Bible does not mean anything. This is an important Bible doctrine which you obviously have failed to see. That's what happens when people follow the doctrines of men.
Most people think the idea of a rapture is new, but actually there already have been 4.Prove it.
Not in the sense of millions missing and planes with no pilots. Most people think the idea of a rapture is new, but actually there already have been 4.
But he still had the same human body.well of course not, planes didn't exist back then.
But it looked something like this."When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away; and the eunuch no longer saw him " -Acts 8:38
It's a weak analogy for the rapture on the last day.I never said he didn't

Its a forceful catching up. The only difference is that God told us that the next one will be universal. "Behold I tell you a mystery, we will not all sleep"....and our resurrection happens at the universal rapture. It's a weak analogy for the rapture on the last day.
