Why do people on this site hate the Catholic Church?

On this site, in one thread, I have seen the following comments abot Catholics and the Catholic Church

"...the current Pope is trying very hard to meld with Islam because he sees the profit potential".

"...on this protestant site, where the Official stance is "Catholic is not Christian""

"The Catholic Church does deny both Father and Son ... and the adherents have no clue of such."

"...the Vatican is a structure meant to be imposing to fend off enemies…there is no truth to be had in that institution."

"Both the roman catholic church and islam are evil religions and not of God"

"... the Eastern Orthodox Church which had broken away from the evil roman cathoic cult"

Not one of these statements was supported by a shred of evidence.
The thread by the way was another piece of anti-Catholic bigotry - "muslim-religion-started-by-catholic-church"

Because what they teach and practice is not according to Scripture.
If one accepts what they teach to be saved they will spend eternity in hell.
I hate all religions that teach a false plan of salvation.

Jesus came to model relationship with the Father through Him, not "religion", "religions" tend to be self replicating and preach a "If you want to get to heaven you have to go through us" wrong mentality. Jesus said "come to me you who labor and are heavy laden". blessings

I cannot speack for others, however I cannot believe the teachings of the RCC nor of any other denomination unless you can tell me it is the true denomination of Jesus, Yeshua, and His Disciples.

How cany anyone believe a denominations that says the Maker of all that is has a mother in flesh??? This is but the beginning of the very misleading and perhaps at times damning teachings from the RCC

None of the aobve is declaring Catolics as hellbound. I believe there are believers in all walks of life, but that is a voluminous subject…......God bless you and all CAtholics, kBaptist, Methodists etc....

By RCC do you mean the Catholic Church?

Jesus is God.
Mary is the mother of Jesus.
Therefore Mary is the mother of God.

This does not mean Mary is older than God, or that she is the source of her Son’s divinity. She is the Mother of God in that she carried in her womb, and gave birth to, a divine person – Jesus Christ, God “in the flesh”

One problem for an example is you don’t pray to Mary or any other Saint, and you don’t kiss the popes ring he is a ordinary man like anyone else nothing special.

I despise the Catholic Church because it shuts out the kingdom of heaven against man. Guilt, punishment and condemnation is the focal point rather than God’s love and saving grace. Where’s the joy?

Obviously you do not understand the Woed. of course Jesus is God, now, but He thought it nothing to be a man for time denying Himself. He was born just as you and dI and because of this He no only always had the right to judge us, He also demonstrated earning that right.

God manifested Himself in the form of a man of flesh, temporarily not God. When Jesus was crucified, and resurrected from the dead, His Body began to be glorified. Ergo He told others not to touch Him for He had not yet been glorified.

If the words do not say it loud enough, hear the Holy Spirit. Do not pass on the oppinions of the majority or conclaves or the like. Also, do not correct what others say simply weigh what the content is that you are able to understand. This is nto grammar schoor nor is it the university, it is comprised of real people.

No doubt about that but he is full crap with all the show boating, it’s basically a show boat religion.

I’ve been to a sermon and watched a practice of reading from two books, the guy would read from one book then move to a big chair and read from another book. They got more manmade traditions then I think the original Pharisees had lol.

Hear this, anyone who puts a denomination up as the Word of God other than the Faith of Abraham is guilty of apostasy, that is to say declaring God has taught something He has not.

Again, this does not translate as my believing all in Christ are not my family. If you do not understand this, do not attack it. I do not attack anyone here.

I recall walking into the foyer of an RCC building, and reading some of the "orders of service". I came across an exaltation of "Regina cielo" which is Latin for "Queen of Heaven". That's idolatry, period.

How can an organization openly engage in blatant idolatry (which is even identified as such in Scripture) and still think they are Christian?

Just, NO.

Those at the top they know, the adherents are brainwashed, religion has that effect.
