Our Heavenly Father's opinion? Do I speak for God? Of course not, but His Word does; the Holy Bible does, so my thinking was it would be good to see in His Word what He thinks of racism, if anything. It's not hard to find His opinion, it's on the 1st page of the Bible.
So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. Genesis 1:27
After His creative work of preparing the earth for human habitation, God created all the races on the sixth day: black, yellow, brown and white He created them; and He created them all in His image. We look like God! But don't get a big head, surely He preferred some races over others, right? He did put us on different continents, and He probably preferred some continents to others, right?
Logically then, if South America is better than Asia, the brown man must be better than the yellow man; if Africa is better than Europe, the white man must not be equal to the black man. Does it make sense to anyone that our Heavenly Father, Who created all of His children, and loves them all, loves some more than others?
We cannot find a fairer Judge than our Father, and does it even matter, seeing we will all be judged by Him, whether we want to be or not. That's not fair, you say? Our Father created us, and He has every right to judge us.
Thou art worthy, O LORD, to receive glory and honor and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 4:11
Have you pleased your Father lately? Sorry, that's a different subject. Now, racism. Does our Heavenly Father really prefer one race over another? The answer is no, He does not, and we can be assured of that by His Holy Word.
And God saw everything that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Genesis 1:31
Our Father created all of His races on the sixth day, and He looked and we weren't just good, we were VERY GOOD! The question then becomes, if our Heavenly Father was pleased with all of the races He created, shouldn't we be? Yes, we should, racism has no place in this world today, especially after it has shrunk.
Shrunk? Yes, before the 15th century the races rarely mixed with each other; we were all on our own continent separated by great oceans. So, if you are a racist, stop it! By the way, I'm old enough to remember racism, and what we have today is nothing compared to what it was in the 40's, 50's and 60's.
I probably shouldn't, but allow me to make a small political statement. Much of the racism we hear about today is perpetuated by some politicians and news media outlets who make their living by continuing to stir the pot of racism. Don't believe them; America is not racist anymore, unless we are intent upon finding examples of it, which some are apt to do.
