I agree, the fact that this virus is not so virulent is more of a problem than SARS... the statistics are not good... and it will take until June for this to peak.
I do not think the USA is in good shape to deal with this... they do not have enough test kits, and did not move quickly enough to suppress transmission by shutting things down.
I agree the projections are not good.
In Italy doctors are literally making decisions on who lives or dies.

If the media and government officials would simply QUIT TALKING ABOUT IT, that would be far better than anything else. All one sees now is 99% of news items are about this glorified flu, and the rest is about clowns trying to lead the USA into chaos.
As to the OP, God is with every believer and in every believer. Christians have nothing to fear. But we should be fully aware that a handful of men who control the news media and the Deep State have an evil agenda to create panic and fear and then subjugate people. And the puppet master behind those men is Satan.

It isn't a glorified flu.... It is a novel flu virus.... the fact that it is not so deadly is exactly why it is a problem.
The Spanish Flu had a death rate of about 2% which is exactly why it was so deadly.
More virulent viruses die out ... less virulent viruses travel throughout large populations and kill more people.
It is indeed very serious... but panic does not solve anything.
We have no idea yet about where the numbers will go... but it will be bad.
And I find it very heartless what you have written, when our health care system is over run and people need ventilators and there are none people will die and you make light of the seriousness.

Now there is a virus running wild and people are all of sudden concerned about human life. really why is human life serious because of a recent virus. many people die everyday of things isn’t that a serious concern too or is it just a virus that gets people’s attention about human life.

We are all concerned about this new virus, but since we trust the Lord to guide us, we don't need to worry. If we truly are 'new creatures in Christ,' we leave our destiny to the Lord. --- However, I have sent the following to some people.
Coronavirus and norovirus are similar, and according to info online, norovirus, colds and flu can be killed by Oregano oil. --- It may be a deterrent to all viruses. --- Check out the uses and benefits of Oil of Oregano online, there is a lot that can be studied.

Economically this is a disaster in the making.
Many companies were already over leveraged... this will sink many ships, unemployment etc., ... the only solution will be huge government spending through bailouts and pumping more money into the system .. which could lead to further collapse down the road.

Can't we pray for the Italians?
Can't we pray that -providing it's his will -God will expose the evil behind the scenes and thwart the purposes of the devil?
We can do that without believing everything in the news or panicking and buying all the toilet paper in sight.

I think people would get sick and some people in poor health would die just like they do with every other flu that comes around.
Shutting down major money making businesses will have an effect on our economy. I don’t see anything different with this flu strain than any of the ones in past but what I do see is a lot of hype and extreme measures put in place over something that we been through many times in the past.
