Bummer

Yikes, that means that the gate is far smaller, and the way far more narrow, than most, if not all, have ever imagined.

Who makes up the 1/10 of 1% out of all of the "Professing Christians" in the world who might be saved  And why are they the only Christians who escape the Lake of Fire

I'd have to say your estimation is probably close if you're speaking about professing Christians in the United States.
Go to your favorite Christian statistic site and browse the polls, Click Here, warning it can be a little sad.
You'll find stats like only 60% of Christians believe in the God of the Bible. And 80% of Christians believe in an everlasting reward (heaven) but of those same folks only 60% believe in an everlasting punishment (hell). "Heaven? Sounds good to me. Hell? Nah I don't believe in that."

Apparently 65% of Americans are Christian which gives us approximately 212m professing Christians in this country, and we know that aint right lol. I live in North Florida, which is considered the Bible belt, my county has approximately 100k people which means there should be approximately 65k people filling the pews each Sunday Lol. Some well respected theologians estimate that only about 5% of professing Christians are truly saved. Using the 5% estimation would amount to 5k believers in my town, sadly I don't think there's half that in all the churches combined on Sunday morning. I attend a small church with approximately 150 people and I would say the 5% estimate could be pretty close at 7.5 Christians in my local congregation lol. I'm not even sure my pastor is Christian or understands salvation if he is. He just did a series on Saturday sabbath and how we should be keeping the law, which I could overlook if every other sermon he preached wasn't unintentionally works based. It's rough out there folks, hope y'all have a good church in your area.
I have avoided organised religion for the above reasons, and for a very long time, way back to the 1980s. Have experienced a few since, pentecostal (prosperity theology) Catholicisim (paganism, pomp and ceremony, worship of Mary and so called saints that they create themselves) Anglican (gay marriage, abortion, muslims are welcome to pray along side them) non demoninational chapel (no need for prophets, prosperity theology) I again have given up and worship alone, a personal relationship with God . Has worked a treat

there are an infinite number of integers
My son argues against planct constant to say there are an infinite number of divisions. A finite world by definition has an end because of corruption and decay. An infinite world does not have division because an infinite world has unity and is a singularity.

The Bible talks about evening and morning. We call this sunrise and sunset that takes place on the Horizon. In science they talk about an event horizon. We see this in the double slit experiment where light can be expressed as a wave or a particle. That is why people on a beach get the interesting photos on the beach at sunset.

Her words were ones of condemnation...that is how it read to me.

As well, typically people who make this accusation are pushing works salvation.

My translation of her words..."you pretend to be Christians but I see sin therefore you are going to hell."

However trolls are rarely able to respond in any rational manner so we may never know what she meant.

And to your post above.. this highlights the failure of believers in North America that is where we should lay our concern...

"professors" are only professors because believers have failed to guard, protect and teach the Gospel of salvation in Christ Jesus.

EleventhHour,

Would you agree that ‘sin’ can be considered ‘evil fruit’?

“Beware of false prophets...Ye shall know them by their fruits...a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” (MATTHEW 7:15-19).

And the scripture gives us information about the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit (GALATIANS 5:19-23) as follows:

Evil fruit (works of the flesh):
Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like.

Good fruit (fruit of the Spirit):
Love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.

So, indeed, if I see any of these things, I can make a determination in regards to a professing believer’s current standing with the Lord.

Remember, our Lord said that a good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit. He did not say that a good tree brings forth less evil fruit than a corrupt one. Or, does not make a practice of bringing forth evil fruit.

You missed by point completely but I am not surprised.

Everyone sins even you.

And Matthew 7 is referring to false teachers and their converts.

And no you cannot make a determination.

EleventhHour,

“Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear”. 1 TIMOTHY 5:20

This implies that there are those who do not sin, that are able to admonish those that do sin.

How can a sinner rebuke a sinner? Does this not fly in the face of the words of our Lord that taught we should “first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then should thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brothers eye” MATTHEW 7:5?

Also, EleventhHour,

John spoke to the multitude when he declared:

“And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire”. LUKE 3:9.

Again, this was addressed to the multitude, not only to false prophets.

Ah, the visuals that come with that one.

Can I just say that all this nonsense makes me want to say, on behalf of my little niece who adores the dolls, that all this gives these little cuties a bad image.

When in truth what we're encountering is:

You're welcome Blair.

matt 7:13-15 most people are on the broad road, the bible doesn't lie, unfortunately most people are under a delusion coz they don't read there bible enough nor study 2 show themselves approved like the bible says!! their not armed properly with the word, they haven't yet grasped true biblical theology nor have they a true understanding of scriptures.

Satan has made short work of them!! he feeds off their ignorance, they've been deceived just like the bible says in rev 12:9 and they don't even know it. but rather than do detective work all they wana do is bicker on here.

you have a carnal gospel that satisfies the flesh!! not the spirit!! you need it purged from you or satans just gonna exploit it.
the problem with people is they don't fear God and they underestimate the devil dats why he has them by the chain.

Pray 2 God and beg him 2 give you wisdom for crying out loud!! Open your eyes people!!
