Catholics more so.
I'm not joking .. Do you let those forbidden to marry priests put those crackers in your mouth with their hands ?I am a Catholic and I would like to have a one on one debate with any Protestant from any denomination, bring up anything on what you do not agree with on the Catholic church as in doctrine, tradition, the papacy, praying to saints etc. I will answer the best I can with love and charity.
God Bless
Wow! What a crass way to speak of communion. For you it may be a cracker and some juice but for others this is the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross given for us to be in union with Christ.I'm not joking .. Do you think I was joking ? You answer the question but this time think spiritual hands just as filthyWow! What a crass way to speak of communion. For you it may be a cracker and some juice but for others this is the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross given for us to be in union with Christ.
No I don't think you are joking, which I why I said what I said. So while I disagree with transubstantiation and many other catholic traditions. I will never speak so irreverently about the Lord's Supper. Be cause Jesus gave it to us, and it is his words and his Spirit and his institution, and as long as the his words are given along with the bread and wine to a repentant soul in reverence to the Lord for his sacrifice, it is Holy.Do you think I was joking ? I observe the Lord's supper, what's your point ?No I don't think you are joking, which I why I said what I said. So while I disagree with transubstantiation and many other catholic traditions. Catholics more so.
How can you speak so degradingly of it then?I observe the Lord's supper, what's your point ?

I don't regard it as magic .. I break bread and drink water if that's all I have and take a moment to remember what Jesus has did for me , I run a conscious check over my life and repent .. Sometimes I stuff the whole piece of bread in my mouth, drink the water as if it's wine if I'm alone and eat it in faith to Jesus honor and remember Him and everything He is with thanks ..How can you speak so degradingly of it then?
From the hands of a man is offered bread and wine, but from the Lord his body and blood broken and spilled for the remission of sin.
Like I said I disagree a lot with Catholic teachings. In fact I am quite anti catholic, but I would never use crass terms in reference to the Lord's Supper, not even to sacramentarians, nor to Catholics. Because it is not man who gives it to us it is the Lord Jesus. Its a shadow used in ceremonies as sign to the angels that bring the gospel . .
And if it is given as a unknow remnant of grace, is it Holy?
They teach only Mary received the fullness of grace who then becomes a dispenser of grace and mercy .Like; "Mother Mary have mercy on us now and in ones hour of need".
According to the law of their fathers. Everyone else get a unknown amount of grace and after the pass the unknown remains as timeless clock . They even teach Mary goes to purgatory and has seen Protestants there . She gives all her comfort by saying . . .Not today keep on suffering.
It's not magic, and neither is the resurrection.I don't regard it as magic .. I'm guess I'm just unchurched and call it like I hear and see it .. My original question still stands .. Care to answerIt's not magic, and neither is the resurrection.
Jesus gave us the his words and his elements, he instituted it and it is his. He gives it to us.
So while I know we will disagree and there is no point in arguing it, if you are taking bread and water alone it's not the Supper. Jesus didn't consecrate water and neither did he offer it alone to an individual. It is communion, with the body and with Christ himself.
