To the readers: note the contrast back and forth in the context of the entire 3-chapter section of Romans 9 thru 11 (re: "Israel [singular nation]" and "the Gentiles [plural nations]").
Then view the passage below:
Romans 11 -
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness [/a hardening] in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in [G1525;
...and note this phrase "the FULNESS of the Gentiles be come in" is DISTINCT from the phrase "the TIMES of the Gentiles be fulfilled" which by contrast speaks of "Gentile domination over Israel" which started in 606/605bc, think Neb's "dream/statue/image," with Neb as "head of gold"].
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance [/irrevocable].

In 70ad the scattering of the Jews took place. Just as prophecy declared.
In 1948 the regathering of Israel started just as prophecy declared.
We are grafted into the vine we are not bloodlined. By faith Abraham pleased God. We walk by faith.
In no way shape or form has God abandoned Israel. As God promised Israel shall be redeemed.
Israel is a burden to all nation's just as prophecy has declared. The nation's shall rise up against Israel just as prophecy declares. But God himself shall defend Israel. And one day they shall look upon him that was peirced.

70 ad is just a example of what's to come. It is not the beginning of the great tribulation for Jesus said in that day it shall be like never before. The greatest of all sorrows and hurt and famine the world has ever seen. Unpresidented.
There is no history after the great tribulation that we can sit back and say wow what a dark day that is because Jesus will have come back to set up his kingdom.
The question asked is "what will be the sign of your coming. Not what will be the signs that say your coming.
Jesus said this generation shall not pass till all is fulfilled. What generation you ask? The generation that started in 1948 the regathering of Israel.
This theology this lie that 70 ad was the starting of the tribulation has infected the minds and teaching of many good brothers and sisters. Jesus declared the fall of the temple that not one stone shall be left upon another. Don't you think he would of said and when you see this the son of man will be back.
He pointed at this time in history to give the example of how devastating the coming tribulation will be.
The tribulation its self effects the whole world....global....everyone.....every nation....not just a part of it.
