Apostle Paul's words specifically contradict your opinion.

"For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit."

"The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified." 1 Corinthians 14
Here's what bites you. Paul says those who speak in tongues edify themselves (understand what they are saying). But they must interpret so others can understand and be edified. They, unlike today, understood what they were saying.

LOL just rip out the part were it states he laid hands on Paul

Acts 9:17-18

17 And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord [d] Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.

Your argument is with the scriptures not me. The Holy Spirit dd not end HIS work when the last Apostle died. when the Pst Apostle died thats "A" not little "a" they did not even have the full New Testament written.
God healed him. But scripture says

“And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,” Acts 8:18 (KJV 1900)

“God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?” Hebrews 2:4 (KJV 1900)

Faith does not exist apart from scripture. So unless you have scripture, you have sinful flesh faith only.
I am surprised you are unfamiliar with the 2-3 witness concept. It is found throughout the word. See scripture pertaining to my post: 2 Cor. 13:1, Matt 18:16, Deut 19:15.

As you mentioned faith comes from hearing and hearing from the word of God.

Faith in how one can expect to receive the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues is definitely found/heard in the Word:
The Word states that God provides 2 or 3 examples from which concepts are established. This is how someone can know if what they are receiving is from God or not. The biblical record shows 2 examples where the Holy Ghost fell spontaneously and 2 times through the laying on of hands. These verses prove that when people receive the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues it will either occur spontaneously or through the laying on of hands. If was never done in any other way.

As I said, there are only two outpourings mentioned in scripture. You add to scripture going beyond this.

No spiritual faith beyond scripture. Only sinful flesh belief remains.

This is not accurate information. God alone decides and distributes the Holy Spirit in whatever fashion He deems appropriate. The office of Apostle and the Spiritual Gifts are still operating and will continue to be necessary for equipping Christian's in ministry until Jesus returns. (Eph 4:10-16) We know this is so because Jesus is still calling individuals who are required to wait on the Holy Spirit before going forth into their personal God-given ministry. (Luke 24:49) And, none will attain the stature of the fullness of Christ until His return.

"But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power ... but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high." Luke 24:49

And he gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ
Luke 24:49

This ignores the constraints God works through in Acts, and adds to scripture.

as the word of God says there were more.

Five to be exact 2:1-4, Acts 4:28-31, Acts 8:15-17, Acts 10:44 and Acts 19:6. Not two but Five not all by the lying of of hands but as the Holy Spirit desired. Just as 1cor 12 says and Jesus in Mark 16 and in John 14 - 16

Not necessary. The bible is the final authority. And from it's contents all will be judged. So my confidence is placed there.
But, scripture does not support Pentecostal claims. As I am setting out to prove.
