Part of James audience clearly have not received the word and their souls were not saved.

21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

the engrafted word... definite article "the" makes it specific.

it is engrafted, therefore this is to believers.

We do not lay apart filthiness in order to receive the word/salvation, that makes receiving the Gospel "quid pro quo" which it is not.

They obviously have not received it yet. James is telling them to receive it and have your souls saved.

What James is saying goes against what Paul says unless you realize the audience. James is not a Christian epistle. It's a Jewish epistle. Paul's epistles are written to the body of Christ. It's that simple.

Yes, there is no Jew or Gentile in Christ. That's my point. If James is a Christian epistle, why would he contradict this and address the twelve tribes if they are Christians? There are not twelve tribes in the body of Christ. No Jew or Gentile. Obviously, It is not a Christian epistle.
Difference between spiritual and the ethnic.
Ethnically they were still Jews.
I am sure they also still identified as Jews.
Do you think they had access to Paul's letters.

! do not know who taught you this, but with your view you take away vital and important spiritual teaching for believers stating it is for some post tribulation saints.

You will never get what James is saying until you acknowledge that James is not a Christian epistle but written to the twelve tribes of Israel. You do know that when that term is used, it is referring to the whole nation of Israel and not a called out group of Christians from that nation. Ever. You contradict the scriptures when you use as such.
One of the most idiotic things I have read on this site.....try again and this time read the book with your eyes open....especially the fact they are told the trial of their FAITH IS PRECIOUS.....

Sometimes the drivel you post astounds me........there is NEITHER JEW nor GREEK pal in the N.T. and THEIR faith is addressed in this book

MY BRETHERN, HAVE NOT THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST, the LORD with respect of persons.

You are out of your mind if you think the above POST is NOT directed at BELIEVERS and or CHRISTIANS (so called)

Spiritual teaching, yes, doctrinal teaching, no. Yes we can glean helpful teachings from James, but doctrinally it’s to a different audience, the twelve tribes.

When James says, “Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door,” I take that as a true statement for the intended audience. That’s not true for us. Paul says Christ is seated at the right of the Father.

Genesis 22:5
He said to his servants, "Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you."

Abraham had faith in God before he took Isaac to the altar , as he said in the above " We will come back to you "...
...xox...
AMEN ROSE.....the whole application of Romans 4.....both DAVID and ABRAHAM were justified by the same faith we are justified by....these inept believers that peddle anything different are either wilfully oblivious to the truth or being obstinate due to RELIGION

Then why the address “to the twelve tribes?” That contradicts what you just stated. There is no twelve tribes in the body of Christ. Hmmmmm.

As @dcontroversal says
" Good luck with that one "
Everyone who has asked him he has ignored...

Now if someone kept asking me if my name was Nora , I would have to tell them " No , it is not " , what gives a reason for a person to ignore this question ? , ...
...xox...
It literally comes down to two truths....

a. He was a previous member that changed names
b. He was a previous member that was banned

Either way, he cannot admit or lie because he peddles a self saving false gospel when it is all boiled down.......

Do this sound like it’s to the body of Christ? And please don’t spiritualize this passage. It says what it means.

James 4
1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Fighting and wars among the body of Christ?
2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye kill? The body of Christ?
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. The body of Christ?
It sounds like CC to me lol. Look we all sin, we all fight amongst each other and say hurtful things like "you're not saved". Some Christians are more mature in the Lord than others and they can't manage their tongues as well as others.

If you take those verses in context, James is still talking to the same audience that have faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. If it's not then when did the audience change to non-believers?

Jas 2:1 My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.

The Lord begotten the nation of Israel. The OT Jewish saints were the first fruits. These tribulation Jews should be a kind of first fruits. There are conditions. The body of Christ is the main harvest.
You keep throwing tribulation saints into James and James doesn't even have the word tribulation in it as far as I can see.

As I stated earlier, tribulation saints must have the faith of Christ and keep the commandments. See Revelation 14:12.

You make the term twelve tribes to mean Christians and yet....just the twelve tribes.

To whom is James addressing here? Rich Christians? Last days?

1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.
5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

Amen! Offering up Isaac on the altar was a demonstration of his faith and not the origin of it. (y)
I had to study the life of Abraham in seminary......in a way his growth and maturity reminds me of @Rosemaryx in this essence.....WHEN he is called as Abram and his name changed he began his walk of faith....his growth and maturity can be seen through the scriptures and when he takes Isaac to sacrifice his his faith can be seen in the promise of GOD to raise up the ONE though the promised Isaac. He was saved and justified by FAITH long ago in UR and this is the end result of his faith. HE knew that GOD would have to raise Isaac up and that the promised one would come through Isaac......

Just like we can see the growth of Rose openly on this site......she came in here unsure, struggling, etc. and over the time she has been here she has grown in her faith, has become rock solid in her posts, has grown in understanding etc......it is cool to watch live HAHAH

The epistle is written to believing Jews, who are scattered among the Gentile nations, the fact he calls them BRETHERN tells us so.

So yes the letters are "Christian" letters.
HE also addresses the trial of their FAITH and tells them to not have THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST with partiality........<---teh definite article (THE) points clearly to what they are........

This idiocy of separating them from Christian believers is exactly that......idiotic....or misinformed!

James addressed himself as a servant to our LORD , and not as Jesus brother , this shows that James was humble before our Savior...

He became a Christian after the Resurrection , and became the first head of the Church , is this correct ?...
...xox...
AMEN Rose.........and in this letter he addresses the trial of THEIR FAITH and tells them to not have THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST THE LORD with partiality......a blind man can read that and deduce they are believers......

Here are the tribulation saints. Keeping the faith of Christ is required and keeping the commandments.

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Look at the bold underline in your quote.

Those who believe in Him will not perish and will receive eternal life.
Those who no longer believe in Him will perish and not receive eternal life.

That's why the Bible tells us to hold fast the gospel by which we were saved.
Because you can't remain in the safety of a gospel that you no longer believe and trust in.

"let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father." - 1 John 2:25
The self sustained, self saving drivel that you peddle has grown old.....you are false.....it is rather sickening and blasphemous as well.....!!

You absolutely do not know the truth if you think for one microsecond that the JEWS have a different covenant and or MUST have faith and some commandment keeping drivel to be saved during ANY TIME FRAME.
