Define a "confirmed case"? Someone exhibits flu-like symptoms? Someone tests positive to something, but has no symptoms? Someone dies of something similar in nature to the flu? You've got to be careful with your words, because the words bandied about in the media often don't carry a consistent meaning. Even if someone in another country tested positive to a test for a corona virus, exhibited the symptoms, and subsequently died, a single case is not an epidemic.

Agree flu like symptoms and ir appears some people asymptomatic as well.
Having said that, the problem and danger here is that it incubates and it is contagious for two weeks before symptoms appear which means it is going to have a high transmission rate.
...so yes it will be an epidemic for many countries, and it will cause death mostly for those with weakened immune systems....so while the death rate is at about 2% lower than other viruses.....the more people infected more dead....simple as that.

That is the scary thing about it.....also I have read numerous reports and have had friends sending me videos that say it has been genetically engineered in a lab and has AIDS type additions......and there seems to be some proof of this....yesterday I seen a report from Thailand that one of 9 people or so that had it was on his death bed and they gave him a cocktail shot of meds used for the Aids virus along with anti-viral's and within 48 hours he was fine with no trace of the virus.....(supposedly)

No body is panicking pal, but a few facts seem to allude your reasoning skills....
a. Like I said above....a nation does not quarantine over 60 million people (now) if only a few thousand are sick and a few hundred dead
b. Nations do not stop ALL flights to and from said nation if A (bolded) is factual
c. The Spanish flu killed some 25 to 30 million people
d. The BIBLE speaks of emergent diseases that KILL many (the 2nd thru 4th horse of the apocalypse) KILL 1/4 of the earth's population
We cannot keep our heads in the sand.....WISE MEN see evil coming and prepare for it <----THIS is biblical and found thru and thru the bible............

They built a hospital designed to hold 1,000 patients within ten days. They are said to be finishing the second hospital within the week. It is designed to hold 1,500 patients. The last time they did this was during the SARS outbreak and then they built one. This, more than anything, has me watching very closely. It makes me hypervigilant with hand washing. Just touching door handles and especially shopping cart handles are a huge infection vector for any type of infection. We need to be praying.

China is Communist. Communists are responsible for more deaths than all the wars combined. They harvest organs from living prisoners. You think a little quarantining of less than 1% of their population is going to phase them? Communism is not the US. The whole world is not sunshine and lolly pops.

The Spanish flu was a vaccine-induced sickness, probably where this China hoax is headed.
And so? Does this mean we hide under the table at every mention of the word virus? I'm an evidence-based man. When God strikes the Earth with a plague, it's more akin to the black death than the common cold. Also, in the book of Revelation, I believe He marks His own so the plagues don't affect them, but correct me if I'm mistaken on that point.
And Jesus said He who seeks to save His life will lose it. Do you think that even if this were one of the biblical plagues foretold, which I have seen no evidence for, you will be able to hide by banning flights to and from China?
This sounds like evolution. It didn't happen then (ever), and it won't happen now.
