Sorry my patience has run out for today...one can only grow so quickly you know.

He said he is living in adultery. I don’t know why he puts that on himself. Or why you gave him likes when he rebuked me for saying I don’t think he is in his circumstance

But if he believes that, what can I do?

I guess if it wins his argument, not divorcing your second wife or being celibate with her is adultery to You

Sorry my patience has run out for today...one can only grow so quickly you know.

Sorry I hope you’re not so desperate to win your argument that you think divorce and remarriage is not covered by the blood, and that therefore abiding in a second marriage is adultery. That would be a monumental stretch

But I do not t think you are saying that. You just failed to consider what he was actually saying.

Sorry my patience has run out for today...one can only grow so quickly you know.

Divorce and remarriage is covered by blood. Therefore, his abiding in his second marriage is not adultery. What’s done is done. You cannot go back and correct things like that

Sorry if that goes against your brad of osas or if you weren’t reading or whatever

He is saying that I am excusing sin because I say abiding in a second marriage that has been covered is not adultery. And you gave a like to it.

So either you agree with his premise or you’re not reading the posts that are before. And that would be ignoring context

Context is not a first grade only discipline

Um yes I am technically in adultry

Stop excusing sin

Wasn’t it Pharisees who spoke in terms of technicality and not according to the spirit and intent of Word

Don’t focus on technicalities. Jesus rebuked people who focused on legal technicalities, and Jesus revealed the spirit and intent of the Word

What was Peter when Jesus called him Satan.....saved or not?
Did he remain that way or did he change in time?
was his sin a sin of ignorance? Ignorance of not knowing or understanding?

Did he err in love?

Erring in love is not blithely trampling on grace. It is lacking understanding. A sin in ignorance is not an intentional sin

I have already excluded besetting sins from what I am talking about. I will here exclude sins of error of understanding. Sins of ignorance. By reading my posts you should have already known I was not speaking of these.

But I wonder... did you read where someone said abiding in a second marriage as a Christian constitutes living in adultery. If so, why did you agree with a rebuke on me when I said I do not see it that way?

Do you think that constitutes living in adultery. Just curious. For my part, I dont

Doess not matter....Peter was saved and opened his mouth in sin

Of course it matters. Motive and intention means it was not a willful sin. And he Changed when more light was given

Willful sin is sinning against the light

Both sins, of course. But not both deliberate defiance against God

technically speaking men have to do nothing to reject Christ...they are already dead in sins and trespasses amd unless called have no chanch to reject right?

Many are called, few chosen...many does not equal all

That’s called Effectual call.

Yet those dead in sin do chose to reject Christ. Being dead does not mean inability to reject No one teaches that

When you respond to yourself the person to whom you pose the question may not see it...just a helpful hint as I continue to work on my kindness.
