Eternal security, OSAS, Eternal life, The eternal seal. Our guaranteed inheritance, Fully Justified, fully Atoned, fully redeemed, fully adopted children of God. The knowledge that we WILL (not might) get to heaven based solely on GOD"S work, in spite of our continued failings and failure to meet Gods standard (which NO ONE can do) is the basis of our faith.

Without security, we have no hope. with no hope. we can have no faith. (faith is the substance of things hoped for) The result? Our belief in Christ will die. and we will end up like those john said in chapter three left us, because they were never of us. Or our pride will will. And we will die self righteous pharisees thinking we are headed to heaven, only to have God tell us to depart from him, for he never knew us, when we start praising all our works.

there are three responses to the gospel.

licentiousness or easy believing. the first group who never really came to faith

Grace. A fully repentant humble person who became poor in spirit (spiritually bankrupt) and called out for Gods mercy

Legalistic/pharisee - a person who comes to God in faith, but tries to recieve or maintain Gods mercy by means of their works,.

None of those really unless someone is very desperate, then the middle one, but for the average person all we need, is to do as Jesus said which is to come to Him with a simple childlike faith, and accept Him into our heart and life, repenting of our sins.

well when we do

we receive everything God promised.

it is those promises which we have that give us the hoipe to sustain our faith.

if we have no security, our faith has no root. I t will fail (as in those who departed in 1 John). or it will puff itself up (as in legalism). those are the only two options.

Yes, we are saved from our sins by the blood of the Lamb. Then if you are like me, you will be baptised in water as a witness to others that the old sinful man has been cleansed, and then the next step is to seek at leat one of the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit. By this time you will be a mature Christian, perhaps worshipping Him for a number of years, while never taking your eyes off Him and hopefully never faltering.

many times it is. everyone is always really polite and nice when they want your money or allegience like politicians and car sales men.

i remember that guy he said its mark of the beast to use the dollar currency. yet he had internet and phone and house to tell us this from. :rolleyes:

i really im asking seriously from you and everyone else. why are people so dumb? its like i got some problems ok im not the sharpest tool in the shed. but will i pay 30 000€ for a banana taped to a wall? i will not thats retarded. who does it and why? what is wrong with people seriously. is it something in their diet are they on some mind altering medication, are they just slow due to some injury that happened, is it genetic like whats going on. how do you have people saying money is mark of the beast dont use it, but are using it all the time to tell us teh message. its crazy really.

yes we do. on the right side. its not your fault completely. the british are the main problem they spread that wrong way driving to many countries and former colonies like india too. :giggle:

Oh thanks Melach, yes safe from fires and praying that the Lord puts them out and sends plenty of rain and restores the country and every bit of damage.
