fact is, you have not met Gods standard as far as righteousness goes apart fromGrace, so in reality, YOU are excusing your own sin. By claiming your sin is not deep enough or bad enough to condemn you

So, I do not meet God's standard, that is salvation by works, and I have never opened my heart to Jesus.

After reading the arguments of both sides, assurance appears to be the concern, not belief.
Heb 10:19-24
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,
by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body,
and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
If we do not really know Jesus, do not know His intentions, ideas, likes and dislikes, know we are His,
know the presence of the Holy Spirit, then we will grasp anything else to fill the void.
When believers pile in to take chunks out of another because their void is filled with something
different than their targets void, both feel "right" that they have found the enemy.
Jesus is simple, repent of our sins, sort out our life, walk the straight path in His love, and everything

I think a lot of people have an issue they have no understanding of what sin is, Sin in the English Bible is a translation of the greek word which means to “miss the mark”
God set the mark back in the garden, you are free to do all things, but do this one thing, you will die
Adam and Eve died the moment they ate,
from that moment on, no one living with the exception of Christ has MET the mark (not sinned)
sadly people want to look at commands, and think, yep I obey them so I am ok, the pharisees though this, and we see what that Got them.
moses, paul and James give us Gods Mark. Cursed is the one who does not obey all, if we keep all the law, yet even stumble in one point we are guilty
the fact is, everyone, PS, Rosemary, DC, MMD, we all “miss the mark” (sin) when it comes to Gods standard. non of us can keep it. If any of us stand in front of God we would be condemned on the spot as guilty!
salvation is being set free from this condemnation, the cross paid the price, as he who knew no sin became sin for us, the lamb of God who made the atoning sacrifice.
people like PS want to tell you we love sin and excuse it.
this is a lie, we acknowledge our sin, praise God for saving us, and spend a lifetime of trying to learn what real sin is so we can become More like Christ and less like our old selves,
until they realise they miss the mark and are just as guilty as us, they will continue to slander (it helps them feel better) and continue to mock Christ because they do not admit, they too “miss the mark” (sin)
anyone who says they can go a whole day without “missing the mark” is either super mature beyond belief, or still not understanding what true sin is.
a non believer sins every minute, it’s all they are capable of doing, it’s their lifestyle, because they have not seen or known God
a believer still misses the mark. but it’s not his or her lifestyle, it’s her growing, and doing what paul did in romans 7 having a battle with the flesh. and many times, just not understanding yet some of the things they do are sin, because they do not see ‘thou shalt not” in front of that particular thought or action.
thats the danger of following laws. you think your ok when your not, the law was not given to tell you HOW to live, it was given to show you how GUILTY you are, if you cannot admit your guilt. You have no understanding of the law.

We can do all that and still fall by the wayside.
Are people so ignorant of scripture, or do they simply deny the scriptures their cult does not like?
God forgives those who believe in Him and come to Him in repentance.
I thought he sounded a lot like Ralph as well. Multiple people asked him if he was Ralph (me included) but he continued to dodge the question, which made him look even more guilty of being Ralph, even if he wasn't.
