Bro dont worry, I keep it oldschool too, I use CAPS for emphasis too, ive had folks tell me that thing DONT YELL I said im not yelling i aint making a SOUND im TYPING with large letters like Paul did to the Galatians, ITS BIBLICAL!

All this internet etiquette is dumb if you ask me.

It gets to me a little, BECAUSE this FACE BOOK is trying to run our society, with their Anti-Flaming RULES, and their pro-Democrates Political AGENDA. I thank GOD I never had a FACE BOOK ACCOUNT.

MALWARE WARNING:
I have already RUN the Norton Scan, and it found two supposed Tracking Cookies, that were Malicious Malware. So it is safe for everybody. IF YOU FIND THESE PROBLEMS, RUN YOUR ANTIVIRUS, IT SHOULD DETECT THEM. After rebooting, My PC is back to normal. These supposed Tracking Cookies, made my ENTIRE TASK BAR UNUSABLE, Including the normal way of closing down my PC, Targeted GOOGLE CHROME to absolutely Cease to function, etc. My Norton 360 found them, and ELIMINATED THEM. It is the kind of thing that I get suspicious that a Competitor of Chrome may have released to get new Customers who abandon Chrome.

Ummmmmm..............eternal security does equal Osas.....and the bible does not teach a loss of salvation once one has been saved by grace through faith!

right.

but, and I do not say this very much, but we still have free will. one can choose to believe in Christ, then one day choose not to.

the only thing one has to do to get into the Kingdom is believe. then God through Christ does the rest.

and, the reason I do not say this very often is it is not worth disagreeing over.

and I also understand that if one does walk away, the that person probably never really believed.

so, it's all good to me. we are headed toward the same destination , just on different trains.

and none of us teach legalism and/ or judeaizing.

grace through faith in Christ.

Lightskin, this is not funny. He has plagued us for almost 2 years. He is a Catholic who puts RED X on every Protestant Posts. He gets BANNED FREQUENTLY, changes his name, and starts to put Red X's oh us that he thinks we are heretics. He on rare occasions posts Catholic info on want they think are Heretics. So our only defense is to report him quickly, and get management to BAN him yet again.
No disrespect, my brother, I respect what you’re saying but I refuse to let that heretic rain on my eternal parade. One day he will weep and gnash his teeth and not be able to plead that he wasn’t warned.

Only a fool would accept it....or one deceived or blind....!

Yes .. it is true... I am thankful for this ....I have never even come close to giving it any consideration... I remember working for the Salvation Army one summer and they tried.. that was the first knowledge I had of conditional security.

It seemed very strange to me to they could believe that salvation was conditional.... and they are called the "Salvation" Army...

Okay, I am just surprised, .... well we will never know if they never really believed so I prefer not to speculate, and no can walk away if they are saved. .. had to add that in.:)

I do not think he was trying to being funny ...he was just confirming my suspicion... of course we all agree he should be reported asap.

Amen...bad day coming for them....these religionists and cainologists make the way broad by their fraudulent gospels and faux salvation that may he lost or forfeit.....

And they have been shown the truth many times.. leaves them without an excuse... it is willful on their part.

An extra bad day for them.

To teach a false doctrine and then claim to be sinless to boot.... what was that word you used, oh yes........ "delusional"

well, it would seem that you are in the wrong forum.....lol

Too funny... good one!! :D

We better be careful then and take care of each other when the fools come around

Proverbs 13:20 tells us that “The one who walks with the wise will become wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.”

I will never, ever accept @Judges1318 .. view ......it is outside of scripture.

I will need to look what you are stating ... since this an exception to how apodosis and protasis usually work.

My main point is this.... the writer does not have loss of salvation in view.

I read the entire passage that is critical.... then this is what is being stated... the warning/exhoration is to "faithfulness" not to salvation... there is a difference.

The writer is telling them to not be like the Israelite that rejected the promise land and accepted a spies report.
If they continue in "faithfulness" they will have a better end .. better than the Israelites.

An emphasis on perseverance but only in the sense of what we should do.

Can a person be saved and not be of Christ’s house and not be a partaker of or with Christ?

I don’t believe they can.

All who are saved are Christ’s house and partakers.

But if you don’t agree, then we can just disagree peacefully

I do not accept Judges interpretation either. But in the end Hebrews 3:6 and Hebrews 3:14 is talking about believers, not super-believers.

The writer states that we have been made partakers (apodosos) if we hold fast. (Protasis).

The apodosos is in the perfect tense, already done.

you said " you do not believe ".
well, Jesus said " believe in Me, you are saved"

pisteou- believe. meaning- to trust, to place confidence in.

so, to believe means to be saved.

to " partake in ' is legalist speak is to work to believe. a lie and a deception.

My point was not that I believe Judges view. My point was I don’t know of a third option. As far as I know. If you have a better interpretation of the passage than mine...etc

I never said I don’t believe. I don’t believe that a person can be a believer without also being of Christ’s house and a partaker. These are results of salvation, which is of God. You have the cart before the horse, hoss

The writer of Hebrews uses the word “partakers”, so I don’t know how you think it is legalistic and deceptive. That’s a rather interesting opinion you have there😉

I think you came in at the middle of a discussion and misunderstood

"Partake in" is legalist speak...o_O

Hebrews 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Partake means "take part or have a part in something".

no, no misunderstanding .

the only thing it takes for one to saved is to believe in Jesus. nothing else.

many of you legalists pick apart Hebrews to try to prove works salvationism.

when one adds anything to salvation other than believe , then one is a lair and a deceiver.

When you believe, you become a partaker of Christ. Being a partaker of Christ is the same as being saved.
