You wandered astray like the prodigal son, but you never stopped believing and after a while you returned to the fold. Good for you and I know your sincerity. You may even be a stronger Christian than you were before. May God bless you.
I won't say much about the satanist I once met on the internet. He turned 180 degrees away from God and gave himself totally over to Satan.
It is people like Him, who had once been enlightened, had tasted the heavenly gift, shared in the Holy Spirit, tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, for whom it is impossible to restore again to repentance. They are crucifying again the Son of God and are holding him up to contempt.
The Bible would not say these things if it were not true. Hold fast to the Word, I know you do.

i came back because I was a true son and the chastening of god led me back
it is false believers who were “never of us” who never return.
