What are some things you find yourself doing that are old or young for your age?

For myself, my dad jokes as a teacher clearly age me, although I'm sure they are well received, while recklessly considering cliff jumping makes me feel 12 again.

At 56 I still regularly play sports, especially football (flag) with my early 20s sons, their friends, and one or two other older guys.

Good post. Thinking about both extremes, I am plain stumped. God bless us one and all, young and old and feeling either or both...

At 43 I’m still exercising on a daily basis because I’m too dumb to get a desk job😁.

....just had to rethink how old I am, thought for a second that I had turned 44, but no, still 43😁😁😁😁😁.

OLDER:
- I like a lot of music from the 1950's. And 1940's. And everything up to present. I like a wide variety of music.
- I never did like excitement and adventure like many young people seem to. I ran more to the comfort and peace elderly people seek.

YOUNGER:
- I never let my age get in the way of acting silly if it is fun.
- I sometimes skip down the hall or across the parking lot just because. Ever see a grey haired man skip?
- My back is still in great shape. I credit my mother's repetition of "Lift with your knees."

A bunch of us old goats still get together and do this every week. (Frank is 21 years older than me.)

Literally 80% of my pop culture references are usually from the 30's-70's. I watched a lot of older movies as a kid. So many times I sound like a 60 something year old lady at 28 XD That and there are words that I use that are big and people my age stare at me like I just started singing in Clingon.

I like sesquipedalian words, too.

Ghotl2: That looks like an interlude in a Red Skelton show.

The place is packed with about 100 people every week. They also give lessons a couple of nights a week.

I'm 32 and act very immature for my age. Will I ever mature emotionally? Who knows. 🤷🏻‍♂️
