The right take life.
I thank God that actually he is in control no matter the circumstances (as painful as it can be). He brings forth life and a date when it ends.
If he did not then I would not be here.
My mother was on the bed ready to abort me.
Fell pregnant out of wedlock to a Catholic.
I was meant to be aborted because of the shame to her Muslim heritage.
At the last moment she said no.
She had no idea why, because she knew she would be rejected.
And that she was.
She took that rejection out on me for most of my life.
God restored our relationship.
Praise God, my mum came to Jesus, not the prophet but the son of God who died for her.
I thank God for that, I have been around to see it and experience it.
I thank God also that all aborted babies are with him now even those offered to Molech.
I just want to say though, and I'm sure, at least I hope so.
Let us love those who have had an abortion and let them know that this sin is covered by the blood of Jesus.

I hear ya, and like you my friend from across the pond, I came from a crappy background by the LORD of heaven and earth being a Father to the fatherless......I fully agree that it is a sin, and fully agree it is covered under grace, however.....there are two, maybe three grieveous sins that draw a special scrutiny from GOD. ONE THING HE ABSOLUTELY despises and that which HE will judge, are those guilty of shedding innocent blood.........!!

Does he not despise all sin?
Do you see a difference between shedding of innocent blood, pure idolatry and homosexuality/beastiality?
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
Surely all sins are grevious, whether it be what you say are grevious.
What about the rest mentioned in the above verses?
I am interested to know why you have not mentioned them.
To me he will judge all sins, and all sins he despises and all are guilty of those sins.
Will an aborter be judged more harshly than an extortioner?

Based upon verbiage and the punishments afforded particular sins is why I make this call......God did not call adultry an abomination....he did call men with men and men with animals an abomination.....exactly why there were LAWS, STATUTES AND JUDGEMENTS...........sin is sin, but it is biblically clear that SOME sins were more grieveous in the eyes of GOD......

AMEN. Crimes against children. Crimes against the environment. Idolatry which is; adultery against God. Huge mistakes.
Numbers 35:33“You shall not pollute the land in which you live, for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except by the blood of the one who shed it.”

It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. It would be better to be thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around your neck than to cause one of these little ones to fall into sin.

A question based upon the following statement.
The following is God's order and a beeakdown of the way it lays out in the O.T....
LAW <--the big 10
Statutes <--division of big 10 into sub categories with qualifying conditions and or circumstances
Judgements <----the judicial ruling based upon the law broken and extinuating circumstances
The questions and why?
Are there different punishments aforded under the judgements for a broken law or statute? Yes
Why?
Do not misunderstand me if you are brother...sin is sin and I fully understand that.....my point is simply the above....the reason for different punishments under the law is because of how God sees the injustice, crimality, wickedness, malice and or motive behind our breach of the law. Some sins are MORE grieveous due to the above in God's eyes and worthy of special attention even though they are sins nonetheless....
God even MAKES PROVISON in the law for the following and that is my point....
If a woman with child loses the child due to an accident by a man, a financial price was to be offered for that child.
If a woman with child loses a child due to malice or injury on purpose by another man under the law eye for an eye
Law ->>>murder = intent and malice
Statute -->Conditional clause death by accident = no motive
Judgements
Murder = death
Accidental death = financial payment
Anyway....hope you understand where I am coming from....
