NO, that makes you an evangelical Christian like me. THAT ARGUMENT stinks and is repulsive, why do they insist on digging it up.
Point taken brother. Yes, I am a conservative, Bible believing evangelical Christian. 👍

Yes, salvation is not a reason to get a big head. I believe we are saved when we believe, but God’s grace is operating, drawing us before we believe. You could call it prevenient (going before) grace, but I’m not sure I believe in the full definition given to prevenient grace. So I call it preceding grace, ie the grace that comes before our faith which draws us powerfully to faith

Again, I also believe that this grace can be resisted
The point being, God in his grace is calling everyone. They think God called just them and that is simply not true. John 3:16.

Yes, atheists do resist the call of our gracious God to repent and believe.

See @ grandpa. I called your post contemptible and depraved, not you
Not worried.

That's why I posted the post directly after it.

Because I knew someone would take it seriously. When it should have been obvious it wasn't a serious post.

Some people don't like humor. But that doesn't stop things from being funny.

It was funny and not at all offensive to those who saw the leg pulling. :D

Yes I don’t agree with that part. I believe Christ died for everyone, God desires all to be saved. And salvation is not something to boast in as you said

Deuteronomy 7;7-8

Applied to us-The Lord did not call us or love us and save us because we were the best or the wisest or most noble born. But the Lord saved us because He loved us and for Christ’s sake alone

It was kind of like a racial stereotype joke, but it was a theological position stereotype joke, that did not reflect or apply to anyone that I know of

But I did not say you were contemptible or base. That was how I felt about your post. But perhaps it was an overreaction, and I did not respond properly, so that’s why apologized

Which would include me. Reminds me of the old gospel song “He included me”

I am so happy in Christ today

That I go singing along the way

Because when the Lord said whosoever

Jesus included me too!

Ok got it.
independent fundamental baptist.
Ok, got it

If you read EARLY independant fundamental baptist writings, you might be surprised at how they agree with what I have said. Yet there has been a drift away from the conservative theology of evangelism to a different, less biblical view of evangelism

Not saying among independent Baptist’s. EVERYWHERE

Here is an excerpt from an independant fundamental baptist preacher. I’m on cell, so I’ll have to give link later

John R Rice.

“Some sinner will say ‘but I thought I must have a change of heart’”. So you must...but that is Gods part. And you may be sure that He will attend to that. Your part is simply to believe in Him, whatever else is necessary to your eternal salvation, THE LORD ATTENDS TO WHEN YOU TRUST Him

John R Rice

The part that is Gods part and that you cannot attend to but God must, that brother Rice was speaking of includes regeneration. 🙂

That is why I said we provide zero power or energy to our regeneration. It is done 100 percent by God when we trust Him

So if this is what DC meant when he said faith alone, I’m good with what he said

Yes, it needs a chicken to lay the egg, so the chicken had to come first. :)

The thing about predestination, is that salvation is for everyone who believes. Trouble is only a few believe, point being God knows from the foundation of the earth who those people will be.

All are chosen, but few there be who follow. The choice is theirs, THEY made the right choice the same as we have, but they get a big head thinking they are better than everyone else which is not true.

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Isaiah 46:11 (HCSB)
11 I call a bird of prey from the east, a man for My purpose from a far country. Yes, I have spoken; so I will also bring it about. I have planned it; I will also do it.

Acts 4:26-28 (HCSB)
26 The kings of the earth took their stand and the rulers assembled together against the Lord and against His Messiah.
27 “For, in fact, in this city both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, assembled together against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed,
28 to do whatever Your hand and Your plan had predestined to take place.

Romans 8:29-30 (HCSB)
29 For those He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.
30 And those He predestined, He also called; and those He called, He also justified; and those He justified, He also glorified.

THEN YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND what PREDESTINATION IS EXACTLY.

You see GOD knows every decision that we will make in our entire lives, BEFORE TIME BEGAN.
AND CHRIST wrote every single one of us in HIS BOOK OF LIFE, Before HE FORMED THE WORLD, based on HIS FORE KNOWLEDGE.

You have to EXPAND your opinion TO MAKE IT FIT GOD...AS AN ALL KNOWING GOD: and HE is bigger than you think.

There are VARIOUS explanations of the 5 T.U.L.I.P. principles of CALVINISM. So some of this may not fit your Definition.

Yes, I disagree with Unconditional Election. It is only a half truth at best, and that makes it a full blown lie. Unconditional Election, does not include, "Chose this DAY Home You Will Serve. Josh. 24:15." AND IT DOES NOT ALLOW GOD TO LOOK DOWN THREW TIME, seeing those who would CHOOSE HIM. HOWEVER, I am from the camp of those WHO believes GOD EXISTS Out Side of TIME AS WE KNOW IT.
Therefore, I believe GOD in HIS Omnipresence, is not only present in every SQUARE INCH OF THE UNIVERSE, 🖝 but ALSO in EVERY SECOND OF TIME as we know it. Therefore HE is PRESENT at Each and every Conversion, and can still Write our names, in the Lamb's Book of LIFE before the foundation of the WORLD.

And I disagree with Limited atonement, IN THAT, HIS death on the Cross paid for ALL SINS OF MEN, except the ONE UNFORGIVABLE SIN, which is Blaspheming the WORK of the Holy Spirit. Rejecting Christ would constitute Blaspheming the work of the Holy Spirit. Everyone who ends up in HELL, will be GUILTY of that SAME SIN, that is UNFORGIVABLE.

BTW, all of my posts are in agreement with this quote by Mr. Rice. This, in effect is the bare essence of what I have been saying in regards to salvation from the beginning since I got here

Show one contradiction.

You won’t because you’re just saying that because you have no argument against what I said.

The power of salvation is not in our faith, but in the one we believe. My six year old grandson knows this.

Only God has the power to raise us to new life. Your faith doesn’t do it. Your faith only serves as a instrumental means by which God saves you.
Keep thinking you don't contradict scripture regularly......faith saves....now...go ahead and contradict this truth!

Faith alone does not save. God saves by Grace through faith.

The disciples asked “ who then can be saved”

Jesus replied “ with men it is impossible, but with God all things are possible

This was in context of the fact that men do not want to come to Christ, because by nature they are incurable idolaters. Incurable by anything they can do, that is. But curable by Gods Grace
Point in case above...another contradiction.....faith saves because of grace......!!

Waiting for an instance where I contradicted myself, sir. This is what I am going to say every time you reply to me until you present the “smoking gun”. 🙂
Already have....every time I have engage you is because of a contradiction or error.....
