Well by all means. Explain the scripture that I have posted and explain how I do not understand them.
Please look into it first. Find in Amos where Paul is speaking from in Romans chapter you quoted from.

Hi SG!

It sounds to me as though you regard any kind of challenge as a "rending" or some kind of attack.

This is a discussion forum.
Proverbs 27: 17. Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
That process of sharpening can be painful, especially as pieces of rust or corrosion come off.

And I agree that challenges or questions can be a kind of attack if they are done impolitely.

Do you feel that I have been impolite in some way?

No, you turned a question that you received an answer to as an opportunity to attack personally. Not appropriate.

I accept that verse. But it DOES NOT TELL ME WHO KEEPS THE LAW

Gentiles did it for centuries Abraham did it, As did Noah As did many people before the law was written.

Does the bible say we LOVE because we have the law? Or does it say we LOVE because God first loved us?

again, This does not tell me WHO has kept the law.

Yes, At that moment i am loving my neighbor, I am by practice keeping the law. but that is not what the law requires. And most people do not do it to keep the law. But because they are practicing the love God asks them to practice, which he empowered them to give

But I did not ask that, I ask WHO KEEPS THE LAW. (ITS REQUIREMENT)

once again, WHO KEEPS THE LAW?

The law is more than commands, It has requirements, One who does not meet those requirements does not keep the law.

I am not focusing on commands, Of course people can keep them

I am focusing on the LAW (A WHOLE ENTITY)

I know of one person who kept the law Can you show me anyone else?

I have said this before but I'll say it again.

"The word/s of the Master is a law to His servants."

I don't think you'll be able to accept it because you have openly suggested or may I say "made your stand" that "we were created so that God can serve us".

So I don't expect you to have the heart of a servant who is not even worthy but does what his Master says out of duty like a soldier who obeys his commanding officer.

So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’” Luke 17:10

During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.Hebrews 5:7-9

OSAS group here, no longer include the LIFE of Jesus in the gospel by saying that it is about the DBR of Jesus.

The Lord Jesus Christ lived and walked on this earth in obedience to His Father's will and commandments to set an example for us to follow in His steps.

To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. 1 Peter 2:21

We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. 1 John 2:3-6

And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. 2 John 1:6

I am a servant of God and I belong to the body of Christ who obeys the Lord who dwells in us with His laws written on our hearts.

I am just a servant and not the Lord to be served.

Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and walk in Love.

God is good and His Love endures forever. Amen

Do you not do the same thing?

God’s Righteous Judgment
You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you toward repentance? But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God “will give to each person according to what he has done.” To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism. Romans 2:1-11

My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. James 1:19-21

"Good day sir, i will leave you in your ignorance"

...We know that we all possess knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. The man who thinks he knows something does not yet know as he ought to know. But the man who loves God is known by God. 1 Corinthians 8:1-3

1. I can not answer I do not know you, and If I would answer I would be assuming, I do not like to assume thing. nor do I like to judge, Only God can do this
2. What I have is a disagreement with you concerning the law. and what it is about Jesus we need to learn. and how it affects people who have already been led to Christ.

but since you still seem to assume I have ulterior motives, I doubt we can have any real conversation. Just like many other people who are in defense mode, and not in discussion mode (on all sides of any argument)

It happens far to often.
OK well then show me this is an honest conversation, it seems like it to me, you seem straightforward.

DO you are with this verses and what do you think it means?

John 5:28-30, " 28 Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment. 30 “I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me."

If you can give me your honest assessment concerning this that will go a long way in my listening to what you have to say because it will dhow me you dont ignore parts of the word.

Can you quote in the law where it is said that he will exact judgment?

And for future reference

When you claim three things, and I only ask about one, It is because I agree with your other two assesments, so there is no need to discuss them any further,

So when you keep trying to talk about those things, and refuse to acknowledge the one thing I want to discuss (because we disagree) you just make hurt the conversation, and appear to be on the defensive..
I brought up the 3 because they all must be complete , not just one of them.

And I already did, in Revelation is when Jesus does it and in the Law judges exact the verdict, here is the basic principle:

1 John 5:16-17, " 16 If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life—to those who commit sins that do not lead to death. There is sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for that. 17 All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that does not lead to death.

Here is law example:

Exodus 21:12-17, " 12 “Whoever strikes a man so that he dies shall be put to death. 13 But if he did not lie in wait for him, but God let him fall into his hand, then I will appoint for you a place to which he may flee. 14 But if a man willfully attacks another to kill him by cunning, you shall take him from my altar, that he may die. 15 “Whoever strikes his father or his mother shall be put to death. 16 “Whoever steals a man and sells him, and anyone found in possession of him, shall be put to death. 17 “Whoever curses his father or his mother shall be put to death."

Since Jesus is the judge, He will do His job:

Acts 10:42-43, " 42 And he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead. 43 To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”

Acts 17:30-31, " 30 The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, 31 because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.”

John 5:22-23, " 22 The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

Revelation 18:6-8, " 6 Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed. 7 As she glorified herself and lived in luxury, so give her a like measure of torment and mourning, since in her heart she says, ‘I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see.’ 8 For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her.”

Revelation 19:11-16, " 11 Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. 13 He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. 14 And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. 15 From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.

Sorry for the red X, But you seem to be all over the place.

I have never insisted, insinuated, or even suggested the bolded part of your response. It appears you have no desire to discuss anything or even try to learn what people believe, it seems you just feal you have an opinion about what they believe, and almost every response you make sorts this out.

I will try to give an example of what I am tryign to say, since you evidenlty for some reason (maybe my fault) can not comprehend..maybe that will help

we have two people who say they let the spirit guide them, and demand that they are only using the word. and the guidance of the spirit, to come to their interpretation, it is from God,

neither of them will admit to the possibility they are listening to what they have been taught, or their own feelings.

yet both have totally opposite views which make the exact same passage say totally opposite things.

are they both REALLY listing to the spirit (can the spirit contradict himself?)

So when we start using this as a reason for our belief, we are in DANGER of being the one who is misinterpreting the word. because we have not used all things of proper hermeneutics to properly see what is being said.

THATS WHY we have so many belief systems, ALL saying they got their view by submitting to the spirit.
OK, so I misunderstood you, this is much more clear.

I agree with one thing I want to add we check our belief by the word, and most of it is written plainly. Like this:

Mat 24:35, “Heaven and earth may pass away, but My words will not pass away.”

But yes ppl view it differnt, I think clearly Jesus teachings are forever, but ppl here tell me different. SO I double down and say yes what you say is correct. I think if we have the spirit heart change of Jer 31 and Ez 36 slowly we will learn more and walk in more truth. and bottom line either way we are going o be accountabe to God.

At the very point this is verifiable, it is a concluded fact that what is being witnessed is a man of lawlessness. The world winks at these sins, but we should rather EXPOSE THEM.

I have called them out before and they try to move on as if to say; "What are you making such a big fuss about?"

(Eph 5:11 NIV) Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
Yes, and ppl hate this verse but it is true. I think Jer 31 style, it may not be overnight but there will be a chage in those who accept His spirit.

Matt 24:12, "And because iniquity will abound, the love of the many will grow cold."

No. You are right. Jesus is your example. Jesus is everyones example. He set the bar pretty high, though, is all I was trying to say.
Well when you said this it seemed like you were saying yes Jesus is our example but we cant follow Him so we follow Paul:

Yes. Jesus is our perfect example.

But the two problems are you are not Him. And you aren't perfect.

That is why it is important to listen to Paul. Because He wasn't Christ and he wasn't perfect either. But he knew how to follow Christ.
I still wonder if I have a perfect example, and Jesus says to follow Him, why would I follow a imperfect example.

He says follow His example and Him:

John 13:15, “For I (Jesus) gave you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.”

John 10:27-30, " 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me

Matt 24:12, "And because iniquity will abound, the love of the many will grow cold."
Yes and Yes, it is a constant pressing in on our part...a seek, knock, ask. Demonstrations of Loving YHWH with all our heart, mind, strength.

I read many citations of verse 1-3 below, but rarely see verses 4-6

Rom 8:1-6 NIV

(1) Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

(2) because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

(3) For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man,

(4) in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.

SG

(5) Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

(6) The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace;

There is a learning to hear what the spirit says

Heb 3:7-13 NIV

(7) So, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you hear his voice,

(8) do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the desert,

(9) where your fathers tested and tried me and for forty years saw what I did.

(10) That is why I was angry with that generation, and I said, 'Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways.'

(11) So I declared on oath in my anger, "They shall never enter my rest.'"

(12) See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.

(13) But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.

"Turning away from the Living God" in my understanding is to refuse to "hear" His Holy Spirit when He speaks to you....

Here we go again, a post which makes n attempt to address the issue,

I mean think about it, puffing self up?

Who is the one puffing themselves up?

The one who demands they know what another believes, yet does re not

Or the one who is being told he believes something, which he does not?

I am not sure where the disconnect came in, but something short circuited our conversation.

When you want to actually discuss things, come talk to me, i would love to discuss with you,

But as long as you want to act like a few others here and just attack with no meat and silly accusations,, well there is nothing we can discuss, your heart is closed.

Oh wait, everyone sees that, i guess i can just sit back and laugh at people falling over themselves to attack EG because they do not like what he has to say about certain doctrines.

Okay, but (to be clear) I wasn't proposing a "post-trib rapture," in case that's what you got out of my post. :D (I cannot tell, by what you've put... but that's okay. ;) )
From one that believes that nobody is going anywhere at any time? (ie no rapture) I find that rather humorous. :p

They are descriptive passages in my view.

Those who have truly repented and come to true saving faith where born again, given the spirit of God, made a new creature, and out of this faith and new birth, by NATURE those who “do good”, they are those who love and obey the commands of god as another passage says,

Those who have not repented, have never been born again, have not recieved the spirit, remain as they are, and are nature are children of wrath who do evil (even though you and I may see they as morally good people) or they went to church all their life, as jesus said, in that day MANY will come, saying how they did all these great works in jesus name’ and jesus will tell them depart, for he NEVER knew them, and stated, they practice iniquity.

And thank you for asking what i see, and not assuming, like quite a few here seems to continue to do no matter what anyon else says. Not just to me, but many others,

Ok exodus is god, as the leader of Israel, imposing capitol punishment on certain sins, and the nation of israel was commanded to follow through with those judgments

Revelation is about the final judgment on those who do not believe or reject christ, not on people who commit certain sins.

So i still do not see in the law what you are saying

The law showed redemption (sacrifice) which saves us from judgment jesus fulfilled that, by offering salvation to everyone, no matter what sin they commited,

Jesus teachings are forever that is not the argument

They argument is does the law teach us how to be morally upright people who love god and serves others

Or is it the love of god and others the means by which we do not break the law (as well as not commit the many sins which are not mentioned by the law)

If we focus on law, we miss on so much in my view
