Accountability.

But readers beware who you make yourself accountable to.

I'd happily be accountable to a few on here if I was in the physical realm with them.

Love you bro EG and I would have probs being accountable to you.
We need it because when we hide sin and are not accountable, its hard to find healing,

Never said it was now did it

But if your doing it to maintain salvation, it is a work, because your working to earn or gain something
It`s not for salvation. You do it so your prayers are not hindered, so that you can walk close with Jesus, so that you can avoid some chastisement which is something you seriously don`t want etc etc

That pertains to having faith in Jesus.
It pertains to more

34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

I agree. I am a fundamental baptist, not in name but in belief, and not like the new breed

What would you call Steven Anderson. Is he a FB?
We used to call ourselves Fundamentalists and we were all part of Independent Fundamental Churches of America. IFCA for short. I belonged to SEVERAL IFCA CHURCHES as I grew up spiritually, because we moved a lot. The final straw was when Harold Camping, wanted his followers to call themselves Fundamentalist. So because so many cults had come in that wanted to call themselves, Fundamentalist, we decided not to use the term. So we abandoned the TERM and now most of us use Conservative Evangelicals.

I worked with someone who enthusiastically invited me to see Harold Camping who I had never heard of at the time. I went to see him and couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Scary, man! Real scary.

I guess you didn’t read @Oncefallen post, and will continue the name calling, huh? Are you going to agree to playing by the rules? I am not name calling, but you still are.
Posts like this only help to keep fueling the fire. I saw the post long before you did and took appropriate action.

Here it is VCO. Is this good doctrine?

That I disagree with, that is an ABUSE of ALL THINGS are lawful for those in Christ... , AND trying to make it fit in the most inappropriate place. If I remember right, that was in response to the question: "Is it illegal to eat meat that was sacrificed to Idols, since we know the Idol was nothing but stone, and really a god." I believe Paul went on to say, "If your brother thinks it is sin, then do not do it for the Sake of your Brother."

PROPER INTERPRETATION HAS THREE PRIMARY RULES.

1. READ THE CONTEXT.
2. READ THE CONTEXT.
3. READ THE CONTEXT.

1 Corinthians 6:18 (KJV)
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

I was living in a rural village a few years ago. Walking to the local post office to pay an important bill. Halfway there I went to get the bill out of my pocket, and it wasn't there! Oh crap! Right then I was guided to walk back home, as I was walking along I heard a rustling sound like paper in the breeze, there was the bill right on the sidewalk! There was no breeze that day, totally calm.

Read 1 John 3:-14-15

A. Does one who hates his brother have eternal life. (1John 3:15)

B. Why or why not ( 1 John 3:14)

I am replacing fornication with hate to make a point, not trying argue or say something negative🙂
