dear friend maybe you can make a topic of it and we can discuss it. i wish it were true as well.
dont we all?

OH IT IS TRUE, for SURE. And the Scoffers have Lined Up:

2 Peter 3:3-4 (HCSB)
3 First, be aware of this: Scoffers will come in the last days to scoff, living according to their own desires,
4 saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? Ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they have been since the beginning of creation.”

So what if it happens later, I will still be READY AND WAITING. No one knows the Hour or the DAY! Christians were TOLD nearly 2000 years ago, to Be READY and Watching FOR THE BRIDEGROOM.

Matthew 25:6 (HCSB)
6 “In the middle of the night there was a shout: ‘Here’s the groom! Come out to meet him.’

Matthew 25:10 (ESV)
10 And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.

Matthew 25:13 (ESV)
13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.

NOT WATCHING FOR THE PRE-TRIB RAPTURE, IS A VERY DANGEROUS THEOLOGY.

Anyone who wants to continue this discussion, can do so on my thread. I will check it for few days.

This year has been a challenge for my husband and me. You know what Satan is whispering in my ear? "You are doing this. You aren't doing that. God is mad at you. You aren't doing enough work for Him."

Sound familiar? Satan is alive and well in our world today like never before.
I hear you.
Somehow we end up in this thinking it is our job to keep God smiling and content by our works.

Well there are many variations... but it does start with making Jesus Lord of your life at the point of ... and part of salvation.
I only know of ONE true answer to my question, so with your reply, I suspect you have adopted one of false answers.

YOU DID NOT ANSWER MY QUESTION?

Let's HEAR what you Think Lordship Salvation means ? ? ?

I do wonder whether those who believe works save us struggle with same thoughts?

I get the perception of maybe not.

It seems easy to fall into the trap of the quantity of the works without regards to the quality
.
I could do all the works I want but quantity matters not if the quality is not right.

The quality of the work is based on the reason for the work.
That is love. If it ain't done out of love it means nothing.
That love for the person and as a result of loving Jesus.

What I find fascinating is that you could do so many great works because of the love you have for those you know and you do not know.

Yet if you have no faith in Jesus those works mean nothing on judgement day.

Surely even those who believe works save us must acknowledge that its faith that saves, because there will be many people who have great works but will be rejected.

So if anyone here reading this believes that works save us do you struggle with what our precious sister in Jesus has expressed?

If so why so and if not why not?

I has been my experience with that question about what does Lordship Salvation Mean, had been a Made Up definition of the Phrase. Opponents to the Phrase "Lordship Salvation" Made Up what they THINK is the definition, just like "OSAS", and run with those FALSE DEFINITIONS, without realizing they do not know dittley about what WE MEAN BY THOSE SAME TWO TERMS. I call it, Spreading a Lie about us.

It is the opposite of what you have just said here. Matthew 25 will be a good read for you - see how judgement is executed there.

The opposite being?
Faith is expressed through love and not love through faith.

Judgement as per Matthew 25 is based on love and not faith.

Faith without love means nothing but love beareth all things and believes and hopes too (1 Cor 13)

Not sure what you are trying to convey.

The quality of the work is based on the reason for the work.
That is love. If it ain't done out of love it means nothing.
That love for the person and as a result of loving Jesus.
So if we do it out of a result of loving Jesus then it's as a result of love.

The sheep called him Lord.
To know him as Lord equals what?

Yet if you have no faith in Jesus those works mean nothing on judgement day.
I can't see where I said what you think in said "and not love through faith"

I say that judgement in Matthew 25 is based on faith and love and the works that backup that faith.

Apart from the lazy guy who called him Lord.
He did nothing.

And I agree with 1 Cor 13.

I read the Bible as well.

Love but no faith in JESUS.

Rejected.

So if we do it out of a result of loving Jesus then it's as a result of love.

The sheep called him Lord.
To know him as Lord equals what?
Again, how does a one week old get saved? Remember Jesus telling old men "unless you become like the little children, you will not see the kingdom of Heaven.."
I'm very sure He did n't mean Faith in Christ at all.

I can't see where I said what you think in said "and not love through faith"
Yes, you said love through faith but the bible says faith through love. Love takes preeminence. You can have faith and not love but you can not have love without faith because love beareth all things.

I say that judgement in Matthew 25 is based on faith and love and the works that backup that faith.

Apart from the lazy guy who called him Lord.
He did nothing.
Judgement in Matthew is purely based on love for one another the reason everyone got surprised in the end. If it was based in faith (the kind of faith being taught here) then no one would be surprised.

Are one week old babies saved? If yes, how?
Ah now I remember.
We have had this conversation before.

And I am trying to figure out why you asked this question as it has nothing to do with your response to my post.

My post was about those who are judged based on what they do and why.
So you don't respond to my previous two posts above and ask the same question I remember you generally go to.

So I say again and repeat again.

I believe yes they are.
Because they are not at the age of accountability.
Never heard of Jesus.
It's covered.

Which is totally different to those in Matt 25.

Why do you keep asking that question?

My wife miscarried with our first child before he/she was born.
Our child is with God.

Ok can you post that.

I said you love because of your faith, works as a result of love.
But I also said you can love and not have faith.

The works of love.
If you do not have faith then works of love mean nothing.

I actually said you can have love without faith, that faith being Jesus.
But you can still have love for others without faith in Jesus.

So please quote my post that leads you to believe what you think I have said.

Does the kind of faith being taught here differ from yours?

If so please tell us.

The only ones that I can see were the sheep.
Which in Matt 25 is where Jesus talks about judging the nation's.

Seperated from the parable of the talent's.

Not sure why.

You’re debating someone who relies on using Red Herring tactics.

Brother Noose.

Why do keep asking this?
Have you suffered such a loss?

If I'm wrong then I'm sorry.
If you have not then please let us know why you keep asking this question.

In reference to my post, we work for God because He is actually doing His work through us. We work for God because we desire to. I'm not against works but works does not save nor do works mean we are "special" and God is happy with us. My point was that whenever we are being tested or going through hard times, the devil jumps on us with all those things I mentioned. Satan knows when we are the weakest. God dose not abandon us whether we are "working" or not.
