Joseph is a good example, he knew that he should not commit 'adultery' -
Cain knew that he shouldn't commit 'murder', but he did it anyway,
so, even though sin was not imputed, death reigned -
as it is written; The wages of sin is death,
the point is, even though God's Law was not written down at that time,
