The book of Job cannot be scripture for death reigned from Adam to Moses.

Nope. I stand on the word of God as it was given to me. All of it. God is the author of all of it. Not a Pope, Luther Calvin or any other man. Being that God is the author and he made the rules he can make exceptions as he sees fit.
He changed it when the authority of the Levites was passed to Jesus.

How can he hold us responsible otherwise?

There was no covenant which offered eternal life in that time. Death reigned from Adam to Moses, (Rom 5:14).

Therefore, Job didn't represent God's covenant with the Israelites or the justification by grace through faith, which is presently offered to us.

You were wrong.
Job along with all human beings looked forward to the eventual Atonement of the Lamb of God, Jesus...

And i never made any claim that Job was part of the Moses covenant.. Why are you so eager to paste positons onto me that i have never stated? It is best to deal with what people actually say. Not lie by projecting statements onto them that they have never stated..

This might be difficult for you, but are you willing to trust the apostolic word of God by Paul?

Despite the fact that Abraham was a prophet (Gen 20:7) and being justified by faith, no eternal life was promised to him.

Death reigned from Adam to Moses (Rom 5:14)

Please read my post before commenting.
I Don’t have to I ask You question about Paul. simple yes or no

CLEAR BINDING APOSTOLIC INSTRUCTIONS:
that you may learn in us
not to go BEYOND WHAT IS WRITTEN,
that none of you may be puffed up
on behalf of one against the other
(1 Cor 4:6).
hmm I see you haven’t a clue to what I said

Yes I would like to read the books mentioned in the OT, but they are lost to time.

Got a lot of nerve posting this.

not to go BEYOND WHAT IS WRITTEN,
that none of you may be puffed up
on behalf of one against the other (1 Cor 4:6).

This thread is a joke, trying to pin the bible against the Bible

The book of Job was written before God chose the Israelites, as His chosen people, during the time when there was no covenant which could possible save Job or for Job to have restored contact with God, which Adam lost (Gen 3:22).

Death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam (Rom 5:14)

Therefore the author of Job wasn't a Jew. However, salvation is of the Jews (John 4:22, Rom 3:2).

The book of Job cannot be scripture and that cannot be refuted by opinion.

I told you in the OP that this cannot be refuted by opinion.

Thanks for proving that I was correct.

Rev 22:19
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Only God has the authority to say which book belongs and which doesn’t and it should not be anyone’s business to conclude other whys.

God can do anything He wants, and that includes saving people regardless of nonexistent covenants.
